14 points given up in the first half would feel so insurmountable if Pickett was in the game. I’m actually not at all worried about us not being able to score with them. Sometimes you gotta win a shootout. Let’s see if Mason can keep moving the ball for us.

 

2 defenders let a couple of receivers behind them in the endzone, less than 20 yards out. SMH

Not only is the D poorly coached, they have no Attitude or mindset to not accept those types of plays.

 

Injuries or not this defense is bad. Like gets walked on game after game. You would think it would be top 5 but it’s not. Even when healthy. Outside of TJ th defense sucks

Agreed. It looked like Benton was held, which is why he was a step or two late getting to Smith. The Seehawks got away with two blatant holds on that drive, not to mention Walker shoving the ball into Rowe's face with no call. The hold on Watt to start the drive was egregious. So is not seeing what the ball-carrier does right after he is tackled. These are just inexcusable failures by the officials.

 

Got dinged up a play or two earlier. He will be fine apparently.

Austin needs to start calling some blitzes, the secondary can't hold up if Watt and Highsmith don't get any pressure.

We were eliminated when we lost to 2-10 teams in back to back weeks at home. Maybe not mathematically, but for all intents and purposes.

 

Game is over. Seattle stood tall at the initial push, and going up by 4 and showing they can shred the D is too much. Turning the game off now as this is a loss for Pgh.

Besides Warren, the offense is struggling too. Mason is barely over 50%. Couple of fumbles that nearly coast us!
