On that play the DL was off balance so it happens… but yeah. Tackling is bad because of all the rules and the players not wanting to get hurt. The “allowable hit box” continues to shrink and the coaching teaches them to tackle higher and go for the “rip” to force a turnover instead of ankle biting or tripping them up.
