Is Mason a better fit for OUR receivers and AFC North football?

Yeah I don't think I agree with the folks around here talking crap about the Bengals defense. Sure they are not good but Mason was on point with his throws which has nothing to do with the Bengals D. He deserves credit. I am serious, flacco would seem washed up and yet he is putting on a clinic right now for the Browns. Is this because all of the other teams D suck. Mason shows maturity in the pocket and he appears fearless. He scans the field and reads it well. I am with you. He deserves this start.

I agree the “it was just the Bengals” doesn’t hold water. While KP and the offense may have had their best performance that game, KP led them on three 3-point drives and a Najee TD. While it was a win, that performance didn’t really stack up against the offense Mason led.

 

Although we are only at the 2-minute warning, but from what I see from Mason thus far I say win or lose the starting job is his to lose in camp next year IF we are able to keep him.

 

For now, Mason has the job.

 

That fumble he kneed out his own hands today gave me flashbacks to a Plaxico play where he did the same thing. No harm in this case, since it went out of bounds

 

So do we still think Masons success was because of the Bengals defense or Seahawks defense sucking lol

 

"Just the Bengals" were leading the Chiefs going into the 4th quarter.
"The Cardinals suck" beat the Eagles.
"The Patriots suck too" gave the Bills a fight.
Shows that even good teams have to be playing well to beat weaker teams. There are no "gimme" games.
