I try not to read into things, and of course emotions can get hit on at times, but KP needs to shut up, learn and see where this goes with a new OC. I have no idea what the true feelings are for him, but next year is where is either does it, or not, as patient as the steelers are at times, I really do not think their going to use the 5th year option hoping...the league is changing rapidly and you prove yourself or get out of the way.

I don't think it was intended to be insulting, but I guess it could have been taken that way. Pickett certainly did.

Part of the QB position is the media though. When things are going good the media pumps you up and they bring you down when its bad. Kenny's sucked. Maybe its time for him to feel the heat.

    Pretty much spot on.

This team has given Kenny every opportunity in the world. He either figures it out in 2024 or he's gotta go.

No argument there. I just dislike the "be professional and hold the company line" thing. I like it much more when they act like real people and don't respond like robots. He's struggled, has been soft benched and he's pissed. I would much prefer him to act pissed than to act like it's OK.

Except for not preparing him to start as a rookie...then throwing him in there after 4 games, giving him a real offense to play in, giving him a real OC that can design an offense, call plays, and be willing to work with a young quarterback directly, a good offensive line, wide receivers that play hard, and other real quarterbacks to learn from.

Yeah, other than that, he's gotten everything a quarterback could ever imagine.

There's no question that the reporter was trying to get a nasty response. It's what some of these media types do.

I don't have a problem with what Kenny said. He was being provoked, and he didn't say anything bad. He just let it be known that he wasn't happy about it. You want to see that fight in your quarterback.

Smouldering in the purgatory of depth chart uncertainty is good for Kenny Boy. Maybe during this journey of anger and frustration he will be able to locate his nutsack. My suggestion is that he quit wearing tighty whiteys and freeball it like a real man. If and when he gets another chance under center he will play with the boys dangling in the cold December wind and win back the faithful.

Believe it or not I am pulling for him. Figuratively of course get your minds out of the gutter.

I am not impressed with KP but this is all true. The Steelers coaching overall is so poor I’m shocked, when any player besides a TJ Watt who is so great it doesn’t matter, plays well.
