No wonder he can't stay healthy! Did you see him lift that car? Geez!

In all seriousness, is it just a coincidence that the two players who seem to have the most commercial appeal on the Steelers, Lammar and Troy, are the two players that can't seem to stay healthy? Has stardom made them a little lazy???
    :hmmm:

Don't flame me. I'm just asking.

I don't know if that applies or not. Look at manning I mean really flip through the channels you'll find him somewhere on a commercial. I think Woodley got a little complacent and troy has been doing the wrong off season training. These commercial rnt take more then a few days to shoot but who knows you could be right

Not sure I agree that his injuries were from being complacent versus just bad luck, but since I haven't stayed in a Holiday INN Express lately I guess it's just an opinion.

I'm a huge Woodley fan and think if he can get in better shape and stay healthy he could be one of our best olbs ever. He is already like 5th or better in all time sacks for the Steelers and I believe he has an average of a sack in every playoff game.

Kordell seemed to go down hill after he started doing commercials for sprint as well. I think they should have it in their contract, no commericals and no madden covers. Troy went down hill after the madden cover.

it's a little more than one per play-off game.

Something just hit me though, the marriage bug hit both him and Ben this year.

In my view, Woodley was noticeably larger around the middle the past two seasons. I think he needs to re-dedicate himself to being a well-conditioned athlete and come to camp 10-12 lbs. in 2013. I think that the lack of enough intensive off-season training is part of the reason that Woodley always seems to have a "tweaked" hamstring. Even when he's not injured, the burst isn't there. Troy on the other hand, seems to be the same player on the field when he is not injured, so I don't think it's a lack of off-season conditioning in his case.

LaMarr needs to Skinit some weight and rededicate himself.
This team is on the hook for a lot of dough with this dough boy.
I was one who was NOT for paying him this out of control contract.
Big payday has gone to his middle. Plus, he can't stay on the field consistantly.
Guess we will see, time for Tomlin to put the hammer down on this overpaid, overweight underachiever.
Maybe a trade is in order. Not that it would happen. Wourlds would fit in just fine...

With troy I don't think he focuses on flexibility of his legs enough. If he reallydoes join ike on Florida this off season he will have a great year next year. Ike has said when it comes to dbs and wrs Shaw really focuses on flexibility.

Woodley should do whatever it takes to help his hamstring and his speed during the offseason. The coaches should make sure of that also. If he comes to training camp out of shape, trade him, get rid of him someway. He makes too much money to not perform.

The Woodley story reminds me of Jason Gildon. Both set the world on fire at the start then they took a huge payday and just disappeared :frustrated:

Pretty disappointed in Woodley for sure. No where near the fire he had two years ago.
