What did he say that wasn't true? Anyone who defends Ben but keeps ripping Lewis is as Clark said. Now, people who rip Ben AND rip Lewis are in the clear :lolol:

Clark clarified later on Twitter that he was talking about both sets of fans so I guess that helps a bit. Clark can sometimes fly off at the mouth when he shouldn't. I'm sure many remember the tiff with Stephen A. Smith a while back.

While Ray Lewis may not be in the NFL any longer, you can still watch him on TV...just watch Cops :roflmao:

Had to do it. If Roger was the comish then, Ray may have been suspended during the 2000 season. He may have gotten away with helping friends, but he wasn't the one who murdered the guy. Had he played for any other team, I would have forgiven him for that. But since he is a Rat, and I hate the Rats with a passion, I cannot let it go. I do agree with Hines Ward that he was a great competitor. I just hope the Colts can beat the crap out of them, so much so that the Mayflower trucks are brought back to Baltimore.

Pro bowl is a popularity contest and has been for years. SB MVP he earned. DPoy, I don't know who else was nominated so maybe he deserved those too. He's earned respect from a lot of people. I'm not one of them. After his 5th year, or so, he just became a big-mouthed hot dog. (Before you bring it up, I thought Porter was a big mouth too!)

Roll your eyes all you want. Again, for those of you who missed it, I respected his play his 1st few years. You respect him and that's well and fine with me. As a certain rap music producer i briefly worked for said, "You can take the ..........out of Compton but you can't take Compton out of the ...........

So your saying after his 5th year he wasn't a dominant player anymore? Clearly you need to take off your black and yellow goggles and rewatch. As much as I hate the ravens, Ray was a dominant player for the majority of his career. What he lost down the stretch of his career physically he made up for with his knowledge of the game. As for the last statement of your post, that's just an idiotic thing to say.

The guy that was found guilty of wrongful death? The guy that was found guilty of robbery and kidnapping? The guy that is selling the knife that he "didn"t" kill anyone with? That guy?

How do you come up with 5 years? Was Lewis dominant, or was it the whole defense. I don't have black and gold goggles when it comes to players from other teams. I get that some of you think that Ray Lewis is the bestest ever! Living in San Diego I used to hear the same things about Junior Seau. The reality is that both of them were very good at their position, FOR A WHILE, after that, they jumped in on other people's tackles and got up acting like they were still something special. Again, in my opinion! As for my last statement, I didn't say it, I just quoted it for all of you who think that, somehow, Ray's not a thug anymore.

if he was a steeler he would be the greatest player ever to you guys. To say all he has done is jumped on other people's tackles and ran his mouth is so amusing. Then truth is he is retiring and I really don't care, but I can't sit here and say he was an average player with a big mouth.

5th year, OR SO. anyway, I don't care if anyone agrees with me, just as you shouldn't care if I agree with you. These are all just opinions and we all know what opinions are like.

Like one poster said, if Ray were a Steeler, he'd be one of the most popular Steelers of all time. I can't stand Ray because he is the face of a team that I HATE. However, If Ray had been a Steeler I would probably love the guy's passion and leadership. He is definitely an all-time great.
