Looks like I'll be watching Seahawks game on NFL+

CBS is showing Chiefs/Bengals at 4pm. Fox is not showing a 4pm game in my area.

People keep bringing up the history, but they haven't even played the Seahawks in Seattle since 2015. Heyward might be the only player the Steelers still have from that team. I don't know if the Seahawks have had anybody that long. They won because Russell Wilson went off, throwing for five touchdowns, but he's long gone and isn't that same player anymore, anyway.

Sure, the long trip isn't great, but at least the Steelers are doing it on a long week. If the version of the team we saw against the Bengals shows up, the Steelers have a shot.

 

Same here. The NFL is missing out on the best game in the 4 p.m. slot.

 

Maybe Steelers/Seahawks will get flexed to SNF?

Let's not kid ourselves. Seattle has been Jekyll and Hyde like the Steelers.

Gino gets pressure (is he even playing? ) and he looks horrid. The receivers are great but...Gino.

The question can also be what Seahawks team shows up.

 

Was playing around with the ESPN playoff machine. Yep, there are a number of ways to get in.

Among other things I learned:

It is good for us in general to have the Bills fall into a tie with us on the tie breakers. Also regarding them, if the Bills somehow lose to NE this week, opens the door to us at 9-8 if Bills lose both games and we beat Ratbirds who may be resting players.

Colts have to lose one.

What Browns do does not seem to matter.

 

Dammit!! I really was hoping against hope it'd be on in my area. If it was Burrow against Mahomes I'd probably be glad I could watch.

 

We are winning this game!!! Wife and I have had a year long celebration for our 40th wedding anniversary. Married in 1983. Last time Steelers won in Seattle. A Steeler win would be a great way for it to close out and best part it won't cost me money which we went through like crazy celebrating.

Going going into week 17, the Steelers had 4 possible scenarios for a playoff birth. It's looking like that will be down to 3 with the Browns currently stomping the Jets on TNF.

 

Was the 1983 game this one by chance?

EDIT: Nope, just looked it up and this was in 1981. Still a cool memory though.

I get something like this isn't supposed to last forever. That said, the way it happened for the Steelers this season?!?!..... man.....

 

To be fair, the Browns are probably going to finish 12-5, so plenty of teams will be worse than that.

They have had such a weird season. They have had horrid luck with injuries, but insanely-good luck during games. The 49ers miss an easy field goal at the end of the game. The officials hand them a victory over the Colts. Then there were the 10 different ways the Steelers blew the game in Cleveland.

 

It’s a losing season when you finish behind the Browns.
