    • The Buffalo Bills must lose one of their final two games. The Bills have the New England Patriots at home in Week 17 and a big road showdown against the Miami Dolphins in Week 18.
    • The Jacksonville Jaguars must lose one of their two final games. The Jaguars have the easiest path to the finish with a road game against the Carolina Panthers and the Tennesee Titans at home.
    • Finally, the Steelers could make the playoffs with two wins but the Cleveland Browns have to lose both of their last two games. The Browns go against the New York Jets at home in Week 17 and travel to take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 18.
The Steelers must also win out for all three scenarios.

A 4th scenario is that both the texans and the colts finish the season 1-1. At least 1 of them must lose their week 17 game, since the play each other in week 18. If only one of the teams lose on week 17, the team that lost week 17, needs to win on week 18

The Steelers were cruising right along and then got 3 flat tires and the spare is missing. Tomlin went to the hardware store to see if he can get some parts.

Steelers win out and Bills lose to the Dolphins , seems most likely if the Steelers make the playoffs.

Yep. Like a skipping record. Right when it gets to the good part it repeats again and again and again.

The Steelers have to treat every game as their playoff game.

All we had to do is win two of three against the Cards, Pats and Colts and we lost ALL THREE! So here we are again needing help from some of the bottom feeders of the league.

I just wonder where we’d be had Tomlin started Mason instead of Mitch against the Pats and Colts.

Too bad they treated the AZ and the NE games like preseason or they wouldn’t be in this mess.

Yep! Right after we win we will know just what needs to be done week 18. I think there are 2 AFC games later Sunday but not sure how they matter for us? Bengals/Chiefs and Chargers/Broncos. Pretty much we all play at same time Sunday. Maybe Bengal win would hurt us a bit although we owned the tiebreaker should it come to that.

It will change nothing for the steelers if the bengals won their final 2 games.....The steelers will be ahead of the bengals if the steelers won their last 2 games,no matter what

I see the Broncos have thrown in the towel and are deactivating Russell Wilson the last 2 games and are starting Jarrett Stidham. That loss to the Patriots plummeted their playoff chances from 65% down to 7%.

Another example of why dumping a significant portion of your contract into a QB can be a really bad idea

Yep. Broncos and Browns are going to be handcuffed against the cap for the next several years. Flacco is better than Watson.

Yeah they just said on the NFL Network that the Broncos are cutting Wilson at the end of the season and they have to pay him 39 mil for not being there in 2024. They do save 37 mil for the year 2025 but they are screwed for next year. And they are not deactivating him the last 2 games, he will be in uniform but on the bench.

How the hell do the Bengals have the 9 seed and Steelers 10 seed when Steelers have only 1 loss in the division, while Bengals have 5? Not to mention Steelers sweeping Bengals.
