    Ravens
And now with this long drive, he's proven it's not just about his running ability.

Given how much of a clown show the AFC has been as a whole, this Conference is officially Baltimore's to lose. I was willing to give Kansas City one more chance but after their loss to Oakland?!... Nah. Never mind Kansas City... who else in the Conference?!

.... Dear god... only team I can think of is Cleveland!!:eek::eek: One could count Buffalo but man oh man.... Josh Allen LOVES to turn the ball over. Just mark it on your bingo card.

    Yep.

No one is ever going to compare the passing skills of Lamar to someone like Mahomes, Allen or even Herbert. However, so long as he is good enough?!... the rest is easy.

I can't believe they ran Lamar so much on that drive with a big lead and Gus Edwards looking so effective on the goal line.

Sh!t, there's a chance the Steelers play the Ravens week 17 without him, if they lock up the #1 seed next week.

Well, he absolutely takes better care of the ball than Mahomes.

I mean... with the super freak level talent that Mahomes is, you have to live with the mistakes. Those "WOW" moments that Mahomes provides is something that very few (sometimes no one) in the league can do. For me, this is nothing more than a down year for the Chiefs.

They are down... for now. Next year?! Different story.

I guess even with the #1 seed and a bye they would do that? I recall discussions previously about 2 weeks off entering the playoffs. But you have to do everything to make sure he and Flowers are healthy.

I know this will be unpopular, but Mahomes, amazing as he is, got away with a lot of throws with bad posture and mechanics while he was scrambling. I think maybe it's catching up with him.

    Ahhh big deal.
So they gave it away tonight.

49ers are still gonna win NFC.

Sorry, but not a Mahomes fan. Yes, he is a talented guy but he gets away with things that would get any other QB slayed. Tonight was a perfect example. He makes some of the most idiotic plays and sometimes he gets away with it. Sometimes he doesn't. Just want the announcers to say "man, that was not smart". Just like they would with any other QB.

Yeah, hard telling how a team should handle that. Conflicting ideas on how to handle a late season, meaningless game.

11 of 16 season in Playoffs.

    That’s impressive.

    I understand.

Essentially, he is what happens when you take Brett Farve and crank him up to 11. Farve was well known for it. More often than not though?!.. Farve's Hero Ball antics did work.

    They were talking about Harbaugh.

Of his now 16th season with Ravens, 11 have been Playoff bound.

I mean... Mahomes is a two time NFL MVP, two time Super Bowl MVP and two time Super Bowl winner. What is more crazy is that no other QB has been able to do this as quickly as Mahomes did; all of this done by the age of 26. Brady didn't even get his NFL MVP until age 30!! Granted, he had the rings... but not the accolades. For Farve?!

Farve had three straight NFL MVP awards before reaching age 30 at 29. However, he only had one Ring to show for it.

Between you and me, I don't think it is that much of a stretch to put Mahomes into such a comparison thus far. As for Top 5 ever though?! Oh I wholeheartedly agree!! Way, way, way too early for that. :lolol:
