Hey everyone. Hoping against hope that today our offensive line plays like they exist, the secondary can cover receivers without mugging them (no slight to Porter... at least he's CLOSE enough to a receiver to commit pass interference), and Rudolph finds skills AND receivers he never knew he had!

....BUT, I'm afraid it'll look more like this timely holiday classic. MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!

    Rudolph the short-armed QB
Chokes it every time he throws
And if you ever saw him
You would prob'ly say he blows

    All of the other QB's
Used to laugh and call him lame
    But it's because poor Rudolph
Never got to play the game

Then one fateful Christmas Eve (Eve)
    Tomlin came to say
Rudolph, though I know you suck
Just can't bear to call 'The Duck.'

Then how the crowd just booed him
    After every INT....
    Rudolph the short-armed QB
    You still beat out Trubisky!!!!!

I agree, but like I said earlier.....I thought it was telling by the last time He played against the Lions, and tonight that they have faith in Him....look at both those games how many times they let Him throw....way more than they have others. So someone on the team believes in Him

He's a real qb. The other two are pretenders.

Or they were playing a terrible defense and they knew they might need a lot of points with so many guys out on defense.

That said, given the faith they did show in him tonight, I don't understand why they didn't start him against the Colts. Trubisky wasn't just bad against the Patriots, he made that costly, gutless decision to slide on a red zone run later in the game.

Contrast that with Rudolph going all out and diving head first for the first down and also the heads up play to get the ball out of the end zone when Warren tripped.

Money. I guess people like me repeating Myself. One Qb is a 1st round pick, and one is making more than 3 times the others are making. They will go with those 8 out of 10 times....until they can't. You see the excuses people have made for Trubisky on here.....now imagine if You actually are paying him, and He's counting against the cap. They were looking for every excuse to keep using Him until He took it out of their hands.

Its hard to accept that, it's like continuing to hurt the team out of spite, admit the mistake and do what is best for the team always. It is not like the Union is going to come in and say "Wo, wait a minute here, this guy makes more and needs to be playing". Even Helen Keller could see Trib sucks and is a turn over machine. He blows so f that guy.

I`m open to the idea Rudolph is better than Trubisky, mostly because Mitch seems to have regressed. Still believe Kenny is better than either of those two.

I agree, but I'm not paying them, or trying to appease My bosses stupid mistakes. Dude we watched T. Edmunds start every year... the eagles got Him... traded Him away, and then we used His ineptitude against him in when we beat Tenn. That's just one example. I like using K. Warner for another team. You don't think they saw what He could do in practice, but they had just signed a FA Qb.....imagine what would not have happened if their Qb didn't get hurt that year. Kurt Warner never starts, and they probably never go to the SB. So it's just not us. It other teams do this.

Rudolph looks to move up in the pocket and actually plant his feet to throw with good mechanics.

Mason and Kenny either run away in a panic or run with the ball.

I missed the damn game so I'm working off highlights.

It appears to me like Rudolph has earned the job.

    What am I missing?

    Updated version......

The Bengals got run over by a reindeer
Playing in Acrisure Christmas eve eve
You can say that he's only a back up
But he's the starter thanks to Mikey T

The Bengals had been drinking too much Bud Light
And they thought they were a playoff team
But they forgot their place in the division
And back in to last they had to go

When they woke up Christmas morning
Their playoff hopes were out of whack
They were still winless in the division
And the same old Bungles were back (they were back)

The Bengals got run over by a reindeer
Playing in Acrisure Christmas eve eve
You can say that he's only a back up
But he's the starter thanks to Mikey T

Agree Mason at least steps up in the pocket and steps into his throws, Too many times Tribisky throws off balance and with his back foot, Kenny too although not as much. I think also he may be more accurate because of this.
