Problem is, for Mason to have a good day without Pickens, he's gonna have to go to that other guy with attitude problems. DJ. Or he's going to have to go to that other guy who quits on routes and can't block, Muth.
Looks like Warren better have a monster day because Harris is in the dog house with the fans.
Calvin Austin and Allen Robinson to the rescue!!

Kenny averages 2.4 seconds to throw. Putting him under center wouldn’t drastically reduce that.

Wait... what? Cowher seems to imply that the HC gets to choose his coaches... Odd... Given that people here think Tomlin hardly has a say in anything org related.

After Erhardt, Cowher went through OC's like changing underwear.

He got it right with Gailey, Mularkey and Whisenhunt. All 3 of those guys went on to be HCs.

Not so sure about that. I'd say people here think Tomlin has a lot of influence. A lot of threads you'll see guys calling our other Coaches Tomlin's picks.

Cowher is right, the whole argument its new football and that is not how offenses are run is stupid, if we have a ball control offense and our offensive line punishes you all game and we have 10-12 play consistent drives that keeps your high octane offense on the bench and wears your defense down that can still win ballgames like it did before. What rule or change in the game says that doesn't work. It's like saying analog doesn't work anymore because digital is better. Not always. In industrial applications, fuses are still used because they are bullet proof where a circuit breaker can fail. The new doesn't always mean it's better than the old.

He had also Bruce Arians as WR coach for a few years and Dom Capers become a head coach for the panthers after a few years as DC in Pittsburgh...Even Dick LeBeau was a head coach for a few years with the Bengals after being the DC for a few years in the 1990s with Pittsburgh

Outside of Arians(who was already in Cowher staff), none became head coaches in 17 years after being hired by Tomlin

There really isn't an offensive play or scheme that can cover for an offensive line that cannot block.

Whisenhunt I believe was the best OC statistically the Steelers have ever had.

Surprised he hasn’t gotten another chance somewhere. He was a solid OC for us and led the Cards to the Super Bowl and dang near beat us.

I also think Ben and him clashed and I'm betting because Whiz didn't take any crap and pushed lazy Ben.

He had the best record by win %, but under Haley they had the best offense when it came to Points and Yards, points being the most important.
