It’s not just us, fans and players seem to overreact when things don’t go as expected.

 

I think this is last shot for Pickens.

Tomlin just went to bat for him in a big way … one more screw up it’s over.

 

I’m convinced Tomlin isn’t going to do jack squat. He talks a good game but that’s it. He’s an enabler. There is no excuse for continuing with the status quo with this guy. He betrayed his brothers on the field of battle and there needs to be serious repercussions for that, at the very least inactive for one game. No wonder the Steelers culture is going to hades in a hand basket.

 

This team is an embarrassment.

As I opined, he’s avoiding getting hurt and trying to get moved.

The deactivation needs to come with a verbal ass kicking. I'm not sure Pickens will hear it, though. Maybe the plan is to try to feed him the ball to boost his numbers, then trade him in the offseason.

I am all for a benching. Anything to get Calvin Austin back on the field with Mason Rudolph.

Tomlin should have been fired ON THE SPOT for saying he wasn't benching GP because he's talented. What a pathetic example.

If you have any hope of winning, you can't sit him. He single-handedly makes them cover him over the top and takes a guy out of the middle.

Just like Rooney when he fired Canada and Tomlin said he was the one that did it? Players knew since last season Canada should have been gone. Players respect coaches or owners that are willing to make a decision thats best for the team. They don’t care where the message comes from.
