So disappointing. What’s his response going to be when Tomlin tells him that’s unacceptable or when former players in the media rip him for that effort.

Maybe we can trade Muth to the Chiefs for Creed Humphrey? That’s the pick most of us wanted that year in the 2nd round and Kelce won’t last forever. Win-win

I agree... either way it's damning for Tomlin and the clearest evidence to date that he's lost the team... now twittersphere is getting hot on Watts comments to Eisen regarding the guys don't even want to practice. This is getting ugly and with 3 weeks left, I'm afraid we're at the tip of the iceberg

The more I think about it, trade him to the worst possible team, where dreams go to die, the Jets or Bears. Jets would be perfect, he gets into the NY area, goes clubbing gets into trouble, the usual issues and sinks his career. If we can score a pick or two that would be awesome. Our character assessment in our drafts is lacking. Stop looking past red flags and thinking you can fix them, you can't. Maybe 1 in a 1000 changes course but most likely they are who they are at that point. Either they have a good moral compass and a hungry work ethic or they don't!!

It’s not that Pickens needs to learn what to do. He knows but chooses not to do it.

Ship his ass out of here after the season. He said he wasn't blocking on Warren's run during Saturday's game because he didn't want to get hurt. Johnson can go, too. They're both punks. This team is rudderless when it comes to leadership.

If I'm the Steelers, Pickens wouldn't play in the final 3 games and would be gone after this year....It's ridiculous

Dorin Dickerson said his effort was dog **** lol.

If I’m Art, he’s benched the rest of the season. This decision needs to come from the top.

No, it doesn't. Owners should never dictate who plays and who doesn't. That is the coach's job. Rooney can hold Tomlin accountable for ****ing up the decision, but it should be Tomlin's call. Tomlin should bench Pickens this week. I don't see how he doesn't without losing even more respect in the locker room. You would think at least one of his teammates would call him out for that crap.

Sounds like he threw his coach under the bus?

That probably won’t go over well with Tomlin.

He doesn't want to get a boo boo. And when asked about his Talk with Tomlin about his lack of effort he stated the Talk never happened! So who lied? Tomlin has lied before. Also he called out individuals being critical as stupid analyst's who never played football you know like Ben, Shannon Sharp, Kirk Herbstreit and many other who HAVE played the game.

He is talented yes but again another head case receiver. In the thread "Next seasons moves" I stated he would be back next year. He might but I could also see them trying to trade him.

I've seen this show before. Trying to get fired. He wants out of here.

Trade him off see what you can get back in the off season draft pick wise.

But, we knew his immaturity could be an issue when we drafted him.

Doesn't look like he wants to be here so don't keep him here.

Sit him for the rest of the season for all I care at this point.

If he did that on my high school team, the captains would take him into the locker room and injure him.

I agree but would make an exception in extreme circumstances. Pickett is bringing so much negativity to this team, both on and off the field. Tomlin should bench him, but if I'm Rooney, I would approach Tomlin and demand it. I guess that would make me a meddling owner, but that's what I would do in this case. I would not allow Pickett to play for a team I owned, not this week anyway. I would leave it up to Tomlin to decide if he should play the other 2 weeks.
