Mayfield on Sunday was the first visiting QB to ever post a perfect rating at Lambeau.

    i seriously doubt it.

we will start from scratch. there is nothing about this team that screams competitive, that we just need a QB

    we need A-LOT

starting with a whole new batch of LEADERSHIP - coaches.

That’s a big NO from me. Is he better than what we currently have? Probably. But he’s still basically mediocre and I’d rather get a guy that hasn’t already reached his ceiling.

This year he has thrown for 24 TD's with only 8 picks and 3,315 yards so far this season. That is way better than what our QB's have scrabbled together this year. Of course Mayfield isn't hampered by our coaching staff either, so there is that.

I’ve already had to cheer for him once at Heinz Field. And then he threw the pick to end our season.

The guy is a gamer. Now can he keep this level of play up? Who knows but it’s not the worst idea I have ever heard.

At what cost?? That's the issue (if Omar could get past the puke on his desk), while I don't think he will get out of this world guarantee, he is also not going to sign somewhere for low value back up money.

Those numbers are better than I thought he was putting up this season, but I’ve only seen a couple bits and pieces of his games. I think he had one other good season with Cleveland….. Not sure if it’s something he could maintain. And you’re right, he’s not being hampered by our offensive system.

I still don’t think I could stomach him being our QB.

That picture freaked me out at first. The first thing I saw was the stomach and I thought of Terry Hanratty. And yes, @jeh1856@jeh1856 I have heard your Hanratty story about 6 times. Then looking at the number, I thought, not Duck Hodges again. I just hope Art Rooney II has his big boy pants on when January 8 arrives.

That must mean his shoulder has healed up, that was the one thing that had me concerned about him. I thought we might have tried to sign him and dumped Mitch and Mason.

I agree there is chip on his shoulder that I hated at first but I kind of like. I find myself rooting for him.

He's the reason I am in our fantasy playoffs (my replacement of the injured CJ Stroud). At this point, I just want CHANGE so bring on Baker.

Bucs should keep Mayfield and draft best available QB in round 1.

I'd rather Cousins, but wouldn't be against taking Baker. Not sure why people on here hate him so much. The guy is a gamer. He will bring 150% every game. He brings a lot of passion to a team. He's no Tom Brady, but if he was we could never get him. Anyone we can sign is going to have question marks.

Minshew from the Colts would be a good FA QB to pick up in the offseason. Would like to see Pickett, Penix and Minshew QB room. And a real OC.

OK, that one had my wife yelling from the other room why I was laughing so hard. I always say to her, "you wouldn't understand".

Minshew or Mayfield would be OK with me. Penix reminds me of a left handed Malik Willis. He can throw the ball 80 yards on a rope but sometimes he uncorks one into the ninth row.
