Kazee suspended. Minkah out with a knee injury. Ouch! Will it be Thompson and Peterson back there?

On the plus side, there's a chance Pickett could play.

Good news is the game is Saturday so being out Sunday doesn’t really matter

    ;)

I don't want to see Pickett back this year since the season is lost. I'm actually looking forward to seeing Mason Rudolph play it will be entertaining no matter how it turns out.

They’re going to lose out regardless. Doesn’t matter who’s in there at safety.

I think it is very optimistic to believe the game will be entertaining. The Bengals are playing very well and the Steelers have completely fallen apart.

They shouldn't rush Pickett back, but they should play him if he can go. Every bit of experience helps. So does getting more looks at the guy. Rudolph probably won't even be back next season, so why waste snaps on him if you don't have to do so?

I'm with you. I don't get angry at this point and I will enjoy seeing Mason giving it his all. Man would I love for him to have a game but I'd give that a 2% possibility.

I hate night games but the 4:30 Saturday game is pretty cool if your team is good. After they won you could enjoy the Sunday games that affect your division and conference.

Trubisky is gone next year. Mason could be here cuz of low salary.

I totally agree to sit Pickett till next year. Mason is our last hope for this team to jump a little forward. Playoffs, I doubt it.

They need to upgrade at No. 2 quarterback, not dumpster dive.

Which I would like to thank the NFL for. I get to enjoy my Christmas Eve without the Steelers stinking up my day. Plus I can wrap presents while watching game and not have to worry about missing a big play, because we don't make those.

Until Pickett shows he can be the No. 1 guy and stay healthy, yes, very much.

Ja’Maar Chase is out so that may help us a bit. Still don’t see the Steelers keeping up with the Bengals though.

    no way we keep up

Defense and offense both blow at this point in the season

and so does Harvin, the oversized waste

Tomlin: Um Mason your starting this week. Here is your chance obviously

Also Tomlin: Were leaving the light on for Pickett. We will let his participation be um our guide.

Rudolph needs to be ready to start this week, but the job still belongs to Pickett. Also, why tell the Bengals which guy is playing? They do have different strengths, so it is better to avoid being clear on who will start for now.

sad thing is they're using their backup QB and he'll still embarrass us

In four starts, the only opponent he didn't light up was the Steelers, though it could certainly happen now given that they have lost all their safeties and the wheels have come off.

With our Ilb decimated and now safety, the TE and RB as receivers
Should unfortunately be prolific for the Bengals or any team going forward.

If Chase is out and JPJ can lock down Higgins, we will have a chance as long as we stop Mixon.
