You can hear the singer start up. Almost sounds like Chris Cornell?

I'm 49. This is the worst Steelers team I've ever seen.

1998 was still worse, but not by much.

You look back at that 98 team and it’s not much different than the 97 team that went 11-5. Sometimes it’s just a few pieces that make or break a team. Hopefully, there’s something to build on with this 23 team and doesn’t require years of rebuilding

If you skip to the end, the voice is a lot clearer. This song has been drivin me nuts for days! Enjoy it quite a bit.

In today's NFL you will not win much without a QB.

They need to do a full rebuild on this team, acquire draft capital, dump contracts, go young. This team is essentially becoming or has become the Penguins.

Kordell had regressed like crazy in 1998...Losing their OC (because he got the head coaching job in Dallas) after 1997 was big for the Steelers

There is lots of blame to spread around for this dumpster fire. Here we go:
#1. Owner- buck stops at the tops in the NFL always. He has ignored MT faults just to keep three coach in a million years no change streak.
#2. MT- The team is not good at anything right now. Sign of bad coaching. Entire team does not suck.
#3. Assistant Coaches- No in game adjustments. Arizona TE just caught another pass on us.
#4. A few player do not care to be on team and want out. Let them go.
#5. Lack of leadership on the team.

First, I believe our head coach has had MORE than enough time to prove himself, and nobody can say otherwise. Some of these talking heads in the media are f stupid, and use racism as a crutch to keep an AVERAGE football coach employed instead of wanting the Steelers to hire a much BETTER football coach. Second, if you are only employed because of the Rooney Rule, and keep your job only because of the Rooney Rule, then the system is BROKEN and should be fixed, including re-writing the Pittsburgh Steelers MISSION STATEMENT. Lastly, we don't need to cover up or hide or be ashamed of the Chief's legacy and importance to this City, we need to EMBRACE it. He gambled, bet on horses, carried on...so what? He's the reason we even have the Pittsburgh Steelers to love.

This is a fork in the road...we either go all out to win Championships, or we tuck our tails and become the Bungles or the ****stains or some other puke team that doesn't really care about winning SB's.

I agree with what you put down. I was trying to give my explanation on the inexplicable of why Tomlin might remain and has remained a head coach.

I can take losing. Cowher had losing seasons and some disappointing playoff games. But this team has no heart. We can blame the players sure, they are professionals. But attitude reflects leadership.

It's appropriate they keep playing us on Saturdays and not Sundays, because we have a lot of Saturday and not Sunday players on this roster.

Too bad we can’t play on Friday nights to match our offensive scheme

I'm thinking Wednesday night. They're JV. Varsity has better offensive systems.
