if we lose wallace and lewis would that free up enough cash to sign dwanye bowe. Someone who knows haileys offense.

Ugh. I don't have an issue with posts like these, but they should be (somewhat) realistic.

If we're not willing to throw 8-10 million a year at Wallace, why would we do it for Bowe? Bowe is a different type of receiver than wallace, but he's still an extremely inconsistent receiver with a hint of diva attitude (like Mike).

IF Mike Wallace finds a cure for Gator Arms, I will get over him staying. If not, take plays off for someone else. If you took Bowe out of KC, he'd probably be a brand-new man.

i would sign lewis and pick a wr in the draft , is esier to find a good wr than a cb expecially in our system .

While I agree this won't be happening, it has nothing to do with the reasons you mentioned. There's nothing inconsistent about Bowe. When he's had a QB to throw him the ball, even a mediocre QB, he's produced at an elite level. The guy had 1200 yards and 15 TD's with Matt Cassell throwing him the ball on a run first team. Give him a good QB and the guy could be a top 5 WR in the league every year. He's 10 times the receiver Wallace is, not to mention he's fast enough that he can run deep routes as well, he's done it plenty of times in his career.

If I was choosing between Bowe and Wallace, I would choose Bowe. Wallace is one of those guys who I am convinced is miscast here. It is one reason why we struggle on offense IMO. I know silly right. To me we have two #2 receivers in Brown and Wallace, a 3rd receiver in Sanders, two fourth receivers in Cotchery and Plax, and a couple of prospects. To me Bowe is a #1 receiver, but that may just be me. Wallace has #1 numbers and #2 skill. Let's put it this way, I think his speed makes him dangerous on any offense, that is just reality, but teams can eliminate that if they don't need to double the other guys.

yea bowe would be great to have here. He would thrive with an offense that has a qb who can get him the ball. But we can't afford either of them.

in our system cb is easier. we play so much zone and play so far off wide outs its pathetic. i dont believe lebeau wants a top corner. when is the last we drafted a cb in first two rounds?
