Beating the Browns dropped us from 11th or 12th pick to the 17th

Did they show up or did the Browns just play worse on offense with their 3rd string qb? 10 possessions(9,9,-1,48,14,24,80,-1,24,27), 6 punts, only one sustained drive against the browns?

 

The Browns were smart. They let us win on purpose. Too bad our players kept turning that into pointless TDs.

Any season not in the playoffs is a losing season to me, but technically speaking...8-8 is not a losing season.

 

I'd rather lose next year's first pick then to throw a game against the Browns

 

Winning means something in any situation. Fans want teams to lose for better draft pick, but athletes and organizations are in it to win, even if there's still no chance for an SB. Its about integrity and competitiveness. As has been said many times around here, it's a good thing the fans don't run teams.
