2018 Epic collapse after a good start. Behavior problems with wide receivers. Tomlin seemingly loses team

2019 Epic collapse after a decent start. Duck and Deer year.

2020 Epic collapse after starting 11-0. Team completely falls apart. Tomlin seemingly loses team. Gets absolutely **** stomped by the Cleveland Browns in one of the most embarrassing Steelers games of all time.

2021 Horrific start to the season. Team rallies around Ben and finishes strong. Gets absolutely mud stomped by the Chiefs in Ben's last game ever.

2022 Horrific start to the season. Team rallies around Pickett and finishes strong.

2023 Epic collapse after a great start. Tomlin seemingly loses the team again. Receivers quit on plays. Discipline is again non existent.

It is the same year, after year, after year. It isn't getting any better. Tomlin makes mind boggling in game decisions every year that cost the team games. From Martavious Bryant, to AB, to Leveon Bell, to JuJu, to George Pickens, this team has behavioral problems year in and year out. The guys that have the behaviors all end up eating dinner and hanging at at Tomlin's house.

Guys like Pressley Harvin, who would have been out of the league 2 years ago, continue to shank punts simply because Tomlin likes them.

Some of the worst coaching hires in the league get made by Tomlin year in and out.

The Steelers are stuck in a loop that needs to be broken. Please Art Rooney. Please wake up and smash your alarm clock. How did the movie end? Does Art II need to make a hot brunette fall in love with him?

How the eff does losing your starting quarterback in the first game of the season constitute an epic collapse?

we got ***** slapped by sf in the first game of the season and somehow 2023 was a great start?

2023 Tomlin repeatedly stares up at game clock expecting somehow the scoreboard to change itself

I give 2019 a pass even if they were 8-5 at one point, but some other years like 2018 was just awful...This year is awful but also predicable because they were awful in the first 2 month despite their record

Record aside do you really believe that was a good start? What we actually watched transpire on the field

Hell yeah I do. The team was 7-4 staring at 2 2-10 teams and a very beatable Colts squad. They lost all three. They basically got blown out in all three games. If that isn't a collapse I don't know what is.

That is the point. Every year there is some sort of collapse. Either at the beginning or the end. Then the Black and Gold Shades come out and excuses get made for why Tomlin isn't to blame. When is it going to be enough? Every team has injuries. Every team has adversity. When you start the season 8-5 or 7-4, it isn't unreasonable to expect that your team doesn't get blown out in every game the rest of the year.

No pass from me. Just another season in what has been a ridiculously long trend. When you go 8-5 and finish 8-8....that's on your coach.

You’re just throwing a bunch of crap at the wall and hoping it sticks. We lose Ben in the first game of the season and you call it an epic collapse. That’s just crap. This year our offense has been abysmal the whole year and only we reason we’re 500 is a few miracles by the defense. That’s not a great start or a collapse. It’s just more crap.

Tomlin sets a high standard of mediocrity, underachieving, 0 attention to detail, poor in game time and score management, but he doesn't blink

They were 8-5 that year, despite no Big Ben. They finished 8-8. That's a collapse.

Tomlin's dumb decisions date back to the Jax playoff game long long ago when he went for a 2 pointer from the 12 yard line early in the 3rd quarter, and he said "his gut told him they would convert".

Lets be honest. Even in good years Tomlin's boneheaded, arrogant decision making has cost the Steelers games.

Anyone remember 2014? Another player behavior issue, Legarette Blount gets himself kicked off the team. Tomlin never replaces him. The rest of the season the Steelers went with only 3 running backs even though one of those backs was Dri Archer and the other was Josh Harris. Both were worthless, and Archer wasn't even a legit running back. Low and behold the playoffs come around, and guess what????? Bell is hurt and the Steelers don't have any ****ing backs! Archer is worthless. Harris isn't much better. They have to get Ben freaking Tate off his couch. The one dimensional Steelers get their asses handed to them by the Ravens.

2016 Same scenario, only this time with wide receivers. The only legitimate receiver the Steelers had on the squad was AB. It was a huge problem all year. AFCC comes around and guys like Cobi Hamilton and Sammie Coates drop pass after pass. Guys you will never hear from again. Guys who shouldn't have even been on the active roster. Same Tomlin excuses. "Next man up". "Standard is the Standard"

By the way, James Harrison, another eventual Tomlin Behavior problem, was the heart and soul of the 2016 defense. The same guy Tomlin completely abandoned in 2017.

Flash forward to 2017. Anyone think James Harrison might have made a difference on a 2017 team that got lit up by Blake Bortles????? We will never know because the Steelers refused to give James ANY snaps. Apparently Bud Dupree was just too good to take off the field, which really seems silly in retrospect. The Steelers lost and more Tomlin in game gaffs played a major part.
