The grand illusion of the "Winning Seasons" is finally coming out of the shadows. I have felt this for some years now.

If Art II doesn't ask Tomlin to resign after the season or find a trade partner and resigns him to a contract extension i'm done. Investing my time into this joke is not worth my time. I have steadily for some years now finding my interest waning. My excitement as well. I actually enjoy watching other teams play with no routing interest. I've been a fan for over 50 years now. This is Tomlins $hit show lock stock and barrel.

I watch and my wife said, did they win you were not yelling at the TV. I said, I wasn't even really mad I expected them to lose the rest of the season anyway. I am at the point I will be pleasantly surprised if they play well.

Strangely enough when I saw the OP I thought this one is finally justified so I elected to let well enough alone

Absolutely this. Losses happen. Just nothing about this team is worth watching just due to the lack of effort and lack of gaf by the coach. You can replace this week's Tomlin post-game interview with any other losing week. BS like "there will be changes," and "we're playing jv football" has run its course. A few weeks ago I commented on the appearance of Tomlin having a look of someone that's ready to retire, and it's even more apparent now. It's one thing for players to quit, but it seems like Tomlin quit and is going through the motions.

I think Steeler6 may be last defender. Generally he backs the Steelers thick and thin but he has to see the writing on the wall.

Some say it was after Tebow but I think that was too early. After the Jax playoff game he should have been shown the door it was clear at that point we would never contend again with this man. Guess what 7 years later and 0 playoff wins. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

STD is going to owe me 20 bucks when Steelers finish last. He was 100% sure the Steelers would not finish last and the bet was made when we were 7-4.

or at the latest, after the collapse in 2018

At some point, we will have to have a true rebuilding even if it means a bad season or two record wise.Staying stuck in the middle is just awful but the Steelers seemed to be fine with that since 2019...Maybe it will change in this offseason...if not it will never change....The Steelers way is outdated!..

THIS was it for me, the JAX playoff game that was an inexcusable end with that TALENTED team. I suppose this is a mea culpa from Glenn - but tomlin did not get bad over the last 3 games, he has stunk for many years. Tomlin has far far underachieved for way too long.

some are just seeing the light.

it may be a hard 5-10 yr reality in front of us, I know some of you know this. could be much longer for worse, or COULD turn around - but won't turn around with Tomlin.

If the Steelers were a corporation, there would have already been a hostile takeover by shareholders and the entire board of directors and officer team run out on a rail.

Exactly what we've been saying. I used to defend Tomlin, but couldn't anymore after about 2 years ago. Same crap still happening with different players, and the constant is Tomlin.

Tear it down and start over.
    Dump Tomlin
Get rid of all those hi paid superstars on defense, who played their as* off to get a big contract. Once they got the big contract, they went into semi-retirement, not wanting to get hurt. Dump Watt, Highsmith, Heyward and Fitzpatrick. All these players are a dime a dozen now.
Dump that GM and sell your soul for a franchise QB.
Besides QB, do not give any new 4 or 5 year contracts. Once a player who is playing good wants a new contract, trade him for draft picks. Keep your roster young and healthy. Older players tend to get injured more.

It's been very broken for years. The owner allowed this to happen. Art failed. I've been saying it for a long time.

Put your billons on the table and buy the team Glenn. Otherwise you have no control over Tomlin's fate.

For me, it was the 2014 loss against Tampa Bay. Mike Glennon looked like Joe Montana against us. Tampa Bay would finish 2-14.
