The call makes sense once they explained it. He wasn't down like the idiot announcer said, the ref ruled it was a fumble and because Mitch didn't recover it, the play was blown dead. The ref just didn't see the ball cross the line.

I was gonna react with very optimistic, but I'm not sure if that would be taken well. I think I'll be happy with either outcome tbh. It does feel like one of those games tho.
