Sure hope the Steelers use it wisely!!

Imagine NFL set up like MLB. We wouldn't be laughing at the Carolina Panthers.

Steelers are sitting poorly right now. About 7 million in the red for 2024. We are around 24th on the list for cap available. We have something around 90 million obligated to 4 players next year.

Geez with this crappy roster I would have hoped we were in good shape. We still paying Ben or something? Who on this team besides TJ is making big money.

I'm not worried about it, guys will be cut, and some restructures will be done to create cap space.

Good spot to see all of the caps. Sortable by year and team.

As I said in another thread, I hope Weidel learned much from his former employer in Philly.
Their GM isn't afraid to pull the trigger on deals. And we need to make some.

The important money needs to be spent on the coaching staff. This collection of morons couldn't win with a $500M cap.

We can open up alot of cap space by cutting Mitch, Okorafor, Peterson, Robinson and honestly Ogunjobi (he is playing way below what we are paying him). Go Get Seiler a 6’6” 310lb DT from Miami who has six sacks this year at a much cheaper or comparable contract. Go get a couple higher priced higher pedigree Free Agents like the CB from Chicago or even Owuzee the CB from Cincinnati and go get Cushenberry from Denver at Center - a promising young and up in coming Center. Then draft a RT and MLB and WR and Safety or Slot Corner.Go get a better option in FA to compete with KP at QB and get the best OC, best QB coach, best OL coach and a new Defensive Coordinator. Do not extend Tomlin and let him coach out his year to see if he turns it around. If he makes significant improvement we can resign him the following season to an extended contract. I highly doubt Tomlin would go any where he has alot of loyalty so there is no risk in waiting a year to extend him.
