    I checked the coaching staff listings - https://www.steelers.com/team/coaches-roster/ -
and really wonder what all those folks do. We complain about the coordinators, and rightly so, but what about receiver's coaches addressing poor route running, what about quarterback coaches helping our QBs, what about O-line coaches helping with technique, etc.? We even have a few folks called "Quality Control Coaches" Where is the quality? Surely one of those folks can help players line up in a legal formation, or remind them not to plow into some one who has signaled a fair catch, or how to snap a football.

Love to know what they do all week and in game.

Very good question, I can only assume the position coaches are teaching
Fundamental principles and techniques of the position they coach, and try
to hammer home these teachings thru film study and on field repetition.

Honestly, I can't think of any coaches besides Faulkner (RBC) and Powell(DLC) I'd retain for next year. Maybe the OLB/Edge coach is good/great but that's overshadowed a lot by the talent, but the development of Herbig is great to see

Id love to see job descriptions for what all those folks are supposed to do. That might include the equipment guys, too. Too many slips and falls on our home field. Maybe conditioning guys, too - lots of groin injuries.

Groin injuries were league wide. Don’t know why that is, very odd.

Groin and hammys. Seemed to be a lot of them.

I need to ask my wife to rub my groin. She will ask why and i will reply it is a medical fact that if its rubbed you wont pull your groin muscle.
    Hell its worth a shot!

Less strenuous off-season and not enough reps during preseason games is what I attribute it to.

Dunbar coaches the DL and OLBs, and Roberts does a good job with the TEs.

Don’t see how Tomlin tells the coaches what he wants them to do. When he doesn’t know himself. You can see that on the sideline.

Tomlin gotta spend a lot of time drawing up his press conference wordage. Lately he's been pounding "component" this and component that. By the end of the press meetings the Scribes heads are spinning. All that bull---- and nothing much of value disclosed. Imagine his team meetings go the same way, cause nothing seems to be getting taught.
