Dude at this point, put Mason in there, it cant get much worse! All im saying is all 3 aren’t good. You can agree or disagree. If its the coaching we are $ucked, coz Tomlin isnt going anywhere. Do i think Fields is the answer, hell no! The answer is new coaching. Tomlin did his most damage with the chins guys. He cant pick talent out if it was staring him in the face

LoL. So one simple question. What do our GMs, and Owners do??? Because I have never seen a just HC with the power everyone gives him credit for. So what do the GM, his assistant, and the owners do???

 

Ok, if shades doesnt have the power, replace all them bums. Coz they sure the hell arent doing their jobs right now. I guess when things are bad it isnt shades fault? Only gets credit for being 500 or a game or 2 over his whole career, that has lost its flavor too.
Also shades has the worst clock management in NFL history BTW… Tomlin won Superbowl with chins guys and wasted many other chances.

 

Never said Kenny was better than Ben. He is however a much better option than Mitch or Mason.

Football IQ is more than just reading defenses. It is knowing down and distance. It is taking only calculated risks. It is being safe with the football so that you don't put your defense in bad situations.

Being a game manager isn't "sexy". It does keep the games close, and gives you a chance to win in the end.

 

Again, I say start Mason.

 

Buy. I think they are missing KFP more than many realise. He isn’t great but there were signs of improvement before he got hurt and he is a much more dependable than Mitch. I think they win at least one of the last two with Kenny playing the full games.

A big priority in the offseason has to be getting a better backup plan. Kenny seems to get hurt frequently and this offence just doesn’t work at all with Mitch under center.

I think Pickett was showing signs of improvement going through his progressions starting with the Bengals game. Problem is, our WR's are never open. It's been a problem for years. I don't know if it's the scheme, play calling, or bad blocking. I'm starting to believe that maybe our WR's are just too slow to get open. They sure don't look faster than anyone out there, that's for sure

Never open?? I've seen plenty of video where receivers are open. Theres been plenty of film study posted on this site (if you do a simple search) that shows Kenny does a terrible job of getting through his progressions. If his first option isn't open often his eyes drop and he starts to panic and roll into pressure. He tends to key on and stare down his primary option quite a bit too drawing coverage to that receiver.

It's cool You don't like Him, but You don't have to make up things. I could turn this around, and say You give no credit to when things are going good. See the clock management that is actually something He is involved in ....so that is actually a good point , but , and This is not a shot at You, or anyone, but I think some of You need to go actually look at what the GMs jobs are.
The playing side of most sporting clubs includes two key management functions: the GM function (identifying, acquiring and retaining/exiting the playing talent, coaching staff and support staff) and the coach function (playing squad including pregame preparation, game-day selections, in-game and postgame analysis. Maybe this will help some people. What the difference between a HC, and a GM actually is.

 

Jim Rome was saying the day after the Patriot game embarrassment that Mitch Trubisky is so bad that he makes "Kenny Effing Pickett look like Terry Bradshaw." Now of course that is exaggeration but it shows what the national media thinks of Mitch.

Look i agree with you, no i dont dislike shades, but it maybe time to move on after 17 years. Also , kind of hard to fire owners and Gm , as you know, the HC is the easiest to replace.

Also, what has Tomlin done in the last 10 years? Oh never had a losing record! Won , what 1 playoff game in that time? Like i said you can agree or disagree but it is time for a change.
