Maybe he will play better and the Colts' defense is definitely a lot worse, but that still doesn't inspire much confidence.

    YEAAAAAA
Why on earth are we not looking for anyone but Turnover Mitch.
Browns found lightening and so did Bengals. Meanwhile we, start dude who is mostly responsible for worst 2 losses of Tomlins career. Hell Big Ben would be better

Trubisky was not mostly responsible for those two losses. The Steelers were trailing when he entered the game against the Cardinals and it isn't his fault Cole's snaps seem to be directed at the quarterback's shoe tops. The defense fell apart the last two weeks, too. Trubisky didn't play well, but he had plenty of help in losing those two games.

This game has to become the Najee/Warren show or things will get very ugly

At least the Colts fans won't be calling for Rudolph. They will cheering for Mitch all game long.

Minschew looks like he suffered a concussion yesterday. Please tell me we will not lose against a third-string QB

Minshew took a big hit and struggled to get back to his feet, but nobody even checked him for a concussion. He played the rest of the game. I haven't heard anything about it since.

Of course he's starting. For whatever reason, Dumblin thinks Trubusky can save his non losing season streak

Mitch is not only reason but he was aweful in both games and is a turnover machine.

They have to justify the 10 million dollar salary cap hit.

I’m having surgery on my right arm Thursday and will be sidelined for 6 weeks but probably could be more effective. I might have to take double the prescribed pain killers to get through Saturday’s game.

Trubisky, Flacco, Minshew, Browning, Zappe, Devito, Lock, Haener, Mills, Dobbs. The quality of the NFL has gone to crap, and all the stupid "player safety" rules don't seem to be helping much as far as I can tell. I'd argue that even the "great" quarterbacks like Mahomes, Allen, Purdy, or Hurts aren't as good as the elite qbs in the recent past. They are just good by comparison to the rest of the dreck.

Actually, the Steelers and Cardinals were tied 3-3 and inside the 1 yard line about to score when Kenny Pickett left the game injured and when Trubisky cam into the game. They got stuffed at the goal line on his first play, then the Cardinals marched 99 yards and scored with 15 seconds left to go up 10-3 at halftime.

I'm not blaming Trubisky for the Cardinals game, but I still believe the team is better with Pickett than Trubisky.

The Patriots game, Trubisky was terrible. He threw the ball into danger many times in this game. He could have easily been picked off 3-4 times. The play where he slides instead of trying to pick up the first down is just a terrible play and gutless. I know Kenny Pickett tries to get that first down. I think Mitch lost a lot of supporters on that play alone. The team needed a score, and he went to the ground rather than fighting for a first down. They then don't convert the 4th and 3 play.

That is not how you inspire teammates. That isn't how you win games. He's the biggest and strongest of the quarterbacks, and I think he is the only one of the three that wouldn't have tried to pick up the first down.

Mason burned his bridges really good.... you're not going to see him unless Trubisky goes down and even then probably only if they think Jaylen Warren can't run the offense.

    1) it's still the same CRAP playbook for the last 3 years
    2) we have unproven coordinators running the show

did anyone really expect miracles when MC was fired? We knew pre-season that Trubisky sucked and we knew Kenny had a LOT OF WORK to do to get better.

If TJ and Highsmith are both ruled out (even just TJ), I'd say we have zero chance of winning this game with Trubisky

You are giving me hope now. :)

For the last 2 weeks I have watched as everyone on the internet and TV were picking the Steelers to win easily. Hoping to see some people pick against the Steelers on the pregame shows this week.

I hear you. My gut told me that the bottom could finally fall out when they where at 7-4, but I thought they'd at least win one of those 2 games between the Cards and Pats. Obviously I underestimated how bad they really are. They won't fool me again, I can tell you that much
