He's probably not coming back. After the outcome of that game and finding the message board wouldn't load for him, he probably thinks we are holding him responsible and he's been banned forever!

 

It was sore but well worth it. Despite a losing effort, the stadium experience never disappoints. At least for me.

 

It's really hard to explain but for some reason, at least for me anyway, a loss in the stadium is easier to handle than a loss at home on TV. If I would have had to watch that game at home I probably would have lost my mind.
Being in the stadium, drinking beers with family and friends and shooting the sh!t with other Steelers fans simply reaffirmed why I am a fan of this team.
Obviously I am as frustrated as anybody else about the direction of this team but being in that city just feels different. Probably because I'm not from there.
Either way, I had a quality time in Pittsburgh and it reminded me that I am a Steelers fan for life and the sh!tty times don't last.

 

I really hope it's on it way for a full recovery.

 

Man, that sure doesn't apply to a loss in Cincinnati at Paycor stadium. I was there with my wife and kids the last time Ben played there and the Steelers lost 41-10. There was zero fun, and nothing but rude Cincy fans who didn't know how to act when their team actually won a game.

Yeah, I'm not going to a game in Cincinnati, Cleveland, or Baltimore. It probably helps that my expectations weren't all that high to begin with going into this game against New England.

Unles Mike T remains the head coach for eternity then they most certainly do last! I hear what your saying about being there though it does make watching a loser somewhat better.

 

Oh, I reckon you'll get what you want soon with regards to Tomlin. Same thing most of us want. Trick for you will be where to channel all that anger after he's gone.

 

I will be happy to just have some renewed optimism something I haven’t had in quite some time. That being said I won’t expect the new coach to immediately turn this dumpster fire around but rather hope to see incremental improvement. Around year 3 I’d hope to be a contending team again.

 

We ended up going to the Monterey Pub which was right around the corner from where we were staying.

yes, the burger was very good, and we ordered the onion rings which you can tell were freshly made and not frozen.

 

When the board went down I started looking at other boards after day 3. I saw you are another board and I liked your point but I did not want to start the process of joining just to agree with you.

IMO this board is head and shoulders over the other boards I was checking out.
