Flacco is better than both our QBS.

How come the steelers have not thought of flacco before. We should have Ryan and any other out in the market in for a try out . He and Browning are making both our qbs look stupid

It is curious that Flacco, two weeks removed from the couch, can come in and beat the Jags.

Why wasn't he on somebody's roster? Even as a 3rd stringer.

Well, Flacco has a pretty good team around him.
The Browns have had 6 passers this season.... Flacco, of course, being the best of them. (He has a pulse and has played in game and does have a Super Bowl ring.
Flacco is 38 and did not do well with the Jets (QB Killers) or Denver (Terrible coached team at that time).
At first thought I wouldn't want to sign him, but them the proof is in the details - I should have at least worked him out, he's light years better than Mitch.

No doubt there's regrets and plenty of "Shoulda, woulda, coulda's" to go around.
Ergo, the "Burn the Franchise down" mentality.

The game against the Patriots was absolutely horrible. A new low.
But one has to increase altitude to get the better picture.

    Let's face it.... admit it.
DJ is a terrbile influence on this Team. That's your #1 WR (Let that sink in for a moment). He is not giving 100% he is mailing it in.
His influence is not helping our #2 WR (Go ahead, take a moment) which is a head case too.
So, you've got your #1 and #2 WR's half stepping... Kenny doesn't have the say-so Peyton had where they would ship those two off.. Mitch couldn't hit them with a pass if they were Lynn Swan and John Stalworth anyway.
Everything behind those two WR's are very mediocre.
This is the entire problem. There are other players not laying it down.

In this environment, it is probably warranted to fire even the waterboy.

A fat Big Ben who is eating delicious looking food on a podcast every week can throw for 100 yards in 3 qts.

The issues you're detailing all fall on the head coach.... Tomlin is not a disciplinarian, and that's exactly what players like DJ and Pickens need..... these guys need a wake up call and a boot in the rear and we don't have the man at the healm to do it

    Way ahead of you.
Those two should be sent to the practice squad or cut.
There are other under achievers also.. those two stand out the most at the moment.
If Tomlin has anything left, he puts 53 guys that want to play on the field and sidelines.

This is by no means a good thing to see Tomlin fail like this.
There is no glory in his failure, not one thing is good about it.
This is more of a disgrace.
I'm more inclined that when the decision was made to keep Matt Canada was made, that was when someone should have said, "Mike, maybe it is time.""
I'm not going to try to rewrite his past, he has been a good coach.
17 years is just a very long time in the NFL, obviously too long.

Everyone though Joe was done. He didn't look good with the Jets last season.

But with that line that got Rogers hurt and no one else (up until yesterday with Zack Wilson) the line looked awful for the Jets.

Flacco can still throw, and if given time, he will kill you.

One good thing the Browns have is a very decent defense (especially at home) and they have a good line.

Prob. the saddest state of affairs is the Browns have no quit in them. They lost Chubb, they lost Watson, and they keep going on and winning.
Same with Bengals Burrow done, still out there trying.

Steelers have been hit with injuries and they seem to quit play horrible 2 win teams and don't even show up.

But props to Joe, at this point of time, I almost just want to see Joe do well, make the playoffs and go beat the Ravens, because I think that be a cool story line.

Not sure Flacco wanted to be a 3rd stringer. He most likely thought that based on Cleveland's history of destroying QBs by the truckload, he'd get to start eventually. JMO>

To be fair, Flacco also looks a ton better than Deshaun Watson.

At least the Steelers can move on from their QBs if they have to. The Browns don’t have that luxury.

The Browns, be funny they won a superbowl with Flacco! Dickslapper would probably still get all the credit

Trevor Lawrence . How's come him and Hebert are never brought up?
Other than stats what have they ever won in 3 years?

The Browns are the first team in NFL history to have at least 9 wins with 4 different starting QB's all getting wins this year. They are making the playoffs and will be a tough out the way they play defense and now has a passing game to go along with a good running game.

If I remember correctly, Watson was already done for the season and Thompson-Robinson had been knocked out of their previous game when Flacco was signed.

Yeah Flacco would be killed in our system. He's 6'6" and is 38 years old by the time he bends down and digs out low snap after low snap he would be in the hospital before halftime.

Exactly I’m a Steelers fan first and foremost regardless of the HC but allowing this nonsense to go on this long is a disgrace. There are no winners here me being right about this fraud doesn’t mean a damn thing except that my team sucks. This team couldn’t be further away from contending and this is after winning 3 playoff games in 13 years!! Enough is Enough!!

Best hope is that in 2025 this happens. We shall see. Between you and me, I hope 2024 is the year it happens but I have every reason to believe it won't.

Games with at least 250 yards and 2tds

Since getting offb the couch Flacco has 2 in 2 games

Since Bens last snap the Steelers have NONE

    FLACCO
    2 games
    565 yards. 5 td 2 int

    Kenny
    12 games
    2070 yards 6 td 4 int

Pretty good chance Flacco will out stat him even if he comes back this season
