The Browns have named Flacco the starter for the rest of the season. He has been very good since he came out of retirement. He even is more mobile than he was years ago.

Seems the rest of our division has no problem getting a W this week. Not helpful.

Hard to win games in this league when you have a JV playbook. No leadership on offense. No #1 wide receiver. No center that can hike the ball. A depleted LB room. No consistent punter. And pedestrian QBs.

My son still thinks the Steelers have a shot at the playoffs. Yesterday I felt like a bad father for laughing at my son. Told him I’m not sure this team can win another game. Please prove me wrong and let me eat crow.

Sorry, but the playoffs is the last thing I'm concerned with. It guarantees that Tomlin is back, and gives them a worse draft position.

I'll get no joy out of watching the Chiefs kick the s*** out of us at Arrowhead.

Yeah! Why would any of them want an extra playoff paycheck? I agree that there are SOME players who give up (Pickens......)

The problem with that logic is that the Steelers keep having the same problem with different players over the years. Tomlin is the constant with these same issues.

It would be awesome to watch the Steelers squeak out a win there especially if it were to end on a Kelce fumble or Mahomes INT or even better yet a penalty against them. Watching Britney and Tay Tay unbecoming BFF’s would be epic.

the league sucks, that is #1. (especially the AFC)

#2 is that almost all teams are still in 'the race'

NE is not mathematically eliminated, yet.

we lose our last 3 of 4 and finish 8 and 9, we will NOT be in any race then.....

hell, we may LOSE them all!

We actually needed Cincinnatti to beat Indy. Now we need to beat them both.

We really needed Buffalo and Denver to fade. One of them in is gonna take our spot.

Steelers would have to win 3 out final 4 games to get a playoff spot.

With bad QB play I am not sure its gonna happen.

Only hope in doing that would be that Najee and Warren just start going off with the rushing attack , and the defense becomes a sack and turnover machine.

But given injuries on defense don't see it happening.

Steelers might just end up going 1-3 rest of the way.

At their current rate, the Chiefs are going to struggle to kick the **** out of anybody.

Three of four might be enough, but they have to win the next two. If they wake the hell up, they have a decent shot against the Colts. I'm not so sure about the Bengals. Browning looks like he has gotten comfortable and they are a different offense with Higgins back healthy.

I wouldn't be shocked to see them win at Indy, get full of themselves again, then **** the bed at home against the Bengals.

Steelers have no business being in the playoffs this year. None whatsoever. It would be a waste.

The problem with that is, if the Steelers' running game is going that well, they always seem to revert to passing instead of continuing to run while it's working.

Flacco would be like he was with Jets last year... if he played QB for Steelers. Steelers O line is just as bad as the Jets. Flacco would get destroyed. At least Trubisky and Pickett can run away from the interior pressure.

If the Steelers win the next two weeks against Indy and Cincy and get to 9-6 overall they would then be 7-4 in the AFC own the tiebreakers over both Indy and Cincy and even if they would lose the last two at Seattle and at Baltimore they would still be in good shape to get in over teams like Denver or Buffalo if they both finish 9-8. Both teams already have 5 AFC losses and the Bills still have to play Dallas and Miami and the Broncos still have to play at Detroit on Saturday and at Vegas the final week which won’t be an easy win for Denver. So I think if they get these next two they will be in solid shape to still get in. The Texans are a problem still as well because they own the head to head over the Steelers if they both finish with the same record and Houston has a big game with the Browns at home on Christmas Eve which would be huge game to keep an eye on for the Steelers if they win the next 2 with Indy and Cincy. The bottom line here is this thing could go a million different ways these next few weeks depending upon how this game turns out in Indy on Saturday.

We needed Cincy to beat Indy for playoff hopes. I notice you are always "in your face" and biligerant. I'll mute.
