    1. The decision to use Minkah closer to the line in the 1st half to help out the ilb's played right into Bellechick's hands, opening the middle of the secondary

    2. For much of the 1st half, we made Bailey Zappe look more like Brady Zappe

    3. Mitch Trubisky's decision making process makes my head hurt.... exactly what is he seeing

    4. Losing Highsmith hurt, and TJ wasn't at his best following his early injury, which begs the question..... why did Tomlin only dress 3 olb's

    5. I was gonna say the refs called a pretty clean game..... and then came that BS false start

    6. From what I saw, there is no excuse for not using Darnell Washington more in the passing game or using more double te sets

    7. After the first half, the defense was lights out

    8. Anything remotely resembling competent qb play and we win this easily

    9. Good rebound game by Miles Killebrew

    10. Shout out to Boz for his 56 yd fg

    11. At this point, it can't hurt to start Rudolph, or is it too late to give Ben a call

    12. The rest of the season may get ugly

    13. If they kick that FG on 4th down, then we may very well be talking about what an ugly win we got.

This is clearly the worst coached team in the NFL and everyone needs to go. I've made it very clear I do not like Art but I sure hope he's as angry about this as we all are. If not, this is going to be a serious mess until someone succeeds him.

The defensive coaching infuriates me at times. Why does it take an entire half to make adjustments? Spotting the other team 21 points with this offense guarantees a loss. One can say the offense lacks talent, but that’s not the case with the defense

Hopefully Tomlin blinks because he was out coached again. What a **** show.

Seriously at this point until he is gone there is little reason to analyze anything else. We all know what the biggest problem is.

Trubiski says he needs to play better. IMHO, he shouldn’t even play.

But for the coaches, why even call a play with a 30 yard route on 4th and 2? They should’ve ran the ball on 3rd and 2, but, they didn’t.

Trubisky lost the game on his gutless decision to slide instead of keep running for a first down inside the five yard line. He slid 2 yards short and then threw a one yard pass to Warren on fourth and 2. Kenny Pickett puts his head down and makes the first down. Mason Rudolph even would have dived and gave his best effort and probably gotten the first down. Either Trubisky was afraid to take a hit or he was too stupid to realize where he was on the field. Either way I don't want to see him behind center again, let's give Rudolph a chance.

This Mitch experiment has to end unless the Steelers want to gain draft position. If they’re still interested in being competitive and maybe winning a couple games they have to go to MR

is Tomlin mailing it in, with an eye on moving on?

    My only thought:

There was a time when "tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail" meant something. But considering how many deserve it, we'd need a long train.

My one and only thought for the 2023 steelers:

at first it was ugly with good results, now it is ugly with ugly results. Not much more to say really

Exactly. This team has been utter dog **** for the entire year the results are just starting to even out. Beginning of the season was about as much smoke and mirrors as it comes.

    absolutely disagree mate.
This team is so far from winning easily, it goes well above and beyond the qb.
We lost to 2-10 teams at home back to back, do you really think this is just on the qb? Plus we had pickett for the first half against the cards.

this team has so many flaws rn and is highly dysfunctional. Starts with the coaching; seems like tomlin and his crew are hopelessly unable to cope almost every week.
Run game was dead against the patriots and is in decline again after having showed good development in the weeks before; receivers seems half-hearted; defense plays clueless, was outcoached BADLY in both games and the overall team spirit is shambles. And no I do not think we would have won this game with KP.

No, it really hasn't. They were winning games by playing good defense and avoiding mistakes on offense and special teams. The problem is that left them too small of a margin for error and the defense had too many injuries at the same position. If Holcomb and Alexander don't get hurt, they are at least 8-5 and on track for the top wild card, perhaps 9-4.

Don't get me wrong. This faltered horribly. Thursday's loss was inexcusable and would probably get most coaches fired.

All of your points are valid, however, we lost that game by only 3 points, with Mitch Trubisky looking like a high school qb..... just ave qb play, and while outcoached, we still take that game.... just ave qb play and the wr's don't give up on the field

this is correct - someone might want to tell Cam this as he told the fan base to chill out a few weeks ago. He needs to wake up and smell the coffee.

we are not a good team - deficient in talent in some areas and deficient in COACHING in MOST areas.

ok yeah, if we view it like that maybe you‘re right. Or, with the team trailing 21-3 against another bottom team which scores like 6 points a game over the last 5 games, and a quarterback (pickett) under pressure both literally on the field and off the field from media, fans and everyone, things would have ended just the way they did.

I was at the game. All the fans that we were sitting around made the game. The feelings were mutual, Tomlin has to go.

It was over in the 1st half. They made a game of it in the 2nd but the writing was already on the wall.

Mason Rudolph and Fire Tomlin chants where I was sitting.

How do you not adjust to the quick outs that torched us from Tom Zappe over an over and over. Belicheat knew exactly how to attack the defense. Quick throws to stop the pass rush.

My winning record of seeing live games has fallen. And to a 2-10 team.

Shout out to METALMAN_68, Cami and Gage. Had a great time with friends.

Rudolph sucks too. the PLAYBOOK sucks. Tomlin should have fired Canada in January, he is TOO PASSIVE. he needs to go and I think it is FINALLY over. our coaching is some of the WORST in the league.

They were doing a better job of it earlier in the season, but the injuries at linebacker have hampered their defense in the middle of the field. Alexander and Holcomb are athletic enough to make that more difficult. Roberts is playing well, but that's not his strong point. Their other options were either retired or on the practice squad a few weeks ago.

You would think they would know you have to cover passes in the flat by now. The Patriots have been beating them with those for a couple of decades now.

They can only do so much to cover for the injuries at linebacker. Good coaches are going to find those weak spots.

I honestly think the silly SOB didn't know where the line to gain was and said so in the GDT. He got up signaling a first down. He is terrible.
