Injuries

Steelers have really suffered from the injury bug this year. It's unfortunate but such is life in the NFL.

Not to mention the Cam Hayward, Dionte Johnson, Minkah Fitzpatrick, and Pat Friermuth all most extended time this year.

 

This is the NFL...It happen for almost every team.The Ravens have lost their star TE for the season few week ago...

I wasn't paying attention to who has been out this year and the list was longer than I thought.

This as a 7 win team going into the season, factor in the injuries I'm shocked they are 7-5 right now.

 

The thing that hurts the most is that 4 of those are ILB's and 2 are S's (we JUST got Minkah back too). It really wrecks a particular position group. We have good players throughout the roster, but when one position is decimated it leaves a HUGE hole that is hard to recover from. We've done a nice job adding quality players to cover (Thompson and Walker in particular), but it puts a huge onus on the rest of the team when a particular group is being solely manned by 3rd-4th stringers and PS players.
