Mitch has a good arm. If he's protected and can make good decisions, I think he will have a good game. He seems to be at least as mobile as Kenny and has a lot of NFL experience. I honestly don't think it will be much of a downgrade at all. In fact, I expect we will push the ball down the field more.

 

Mitch is a turnover machine. He might make a few more plays downfield but will likely throw 2-3 INTs in doing so.

The fact here is Trubisky gives us a better shot at the playoffs than Pukett. The Pickett fan club here is in complete denial. Pickett cannot play in this league. He had his chance and he’s now done. Unfortunately, it’s the truth.

it MAY happen, I have similar hopes and premonitions. it would be quite the EMBARRASSMENT for Tomlin and Pickett. IF it does happen, we KNOW we are on the WRONG track. many of us already suspect it.

I think we score a lot of points this week, Mitch wants to show the world that he has some game (although I stand by the 'he sucks' camp). Can make the throws, Kenny cannot see the field - we will see Thurs that the field is OPEN and Kenny does not see it.

Kenny may not play again this year, ESP if Mitch gets a hot hand for a week or 2.

Bottom line is this team was going NO WHERE in 2023, so ENJOY THE TOMLIN SHOW!!!!!

In Trubisky's defense unless he was Gumby or Ambidextrous he couldn't get that low ball from Cole.

Center becomes very high priority in the off season whether through a high draft pick or free agency. How does a starting center in the NFL snap that bad? And his pass protection is just as brutal.

Mitch seems to do better when he starts the game instead of coming in in the middle of a game after an injury, so we’ll see. Bigger issue is can we get the ball snapped to him? Put him under center.
