I believe the biggest issue on offense and quite frankly the team is a lack on leadership. Sure we have Heyward, Watt and Minkah in defense but really the one that really appears to be the leader in that side is Heyward. I’ll give Tomlin a pass on that side as the communication has broken down because if so many injuries.

The offense is a completely different story. We lack leadership on that side of the ball. That’s why you see Pickens DJ acting the way they do. You see no unity amongst the offensive line. It feels like the recievers have very little respect for any of the QB’s especially KP. It just us completely dysfunctional.

I don’t see how they correct this unless Tomlin runs a tighter ship and actually holds these players more accountable. That just isn’t Tomlins style. He needs to get a veteran QB in and a veteran Center or WR that is going to provide direction, calmness and hold their teammates accountable. We even had some chaos with Ben in his later years after Ward, Bettis and Pouncey left because Ben wasn’t really a leader. He hit away with it a little bit only because of his seniority and status.

I see maybe one leader on that offense right in Broderick Jones. They need more.

 

Bettis and Pouncy did not leave because of Ben. Jeez. Where do people come up with these crazy theories?

 

He's saying after those guys left, Ben really wasn't a leader. I don't think he meant they left because of him. Some well placed commas would have helped his sentence, but my grammar sucks as well.

 

I just think they need to implement some term limits. Tomlin trending toward Mitch McConnel at this point.

 

They were done, just as Ben was 6 years before he retired.
