Pickett could be out multiple werks

I saw a report he may be out for a few weeks minimum. So frustrating it would have been nice to see if he develops over this last part of the season. The guy just can’t stay healthy. Was he injury prone in college?

 

Yeah Dulac said he’s out for an extended period. Probably a high ankle sprain. The season is over, just like that as we DEFINITELY don’t have a QB now.

 

Maybe what we need for Coach Cliche to lose his never had a losing season streak.

Muth , Washington , Pickens be nice weapons for Ben

 

Well atleast we won’t have to worry about a drop off in production cause he friggin sucks.

 

What does that have to do with Kenny’s injury?

Edit: Actually it's not a bad idea, especially with Pickett potentially being out for the season. But would they dare ask him, and would he be willing if they did?

I'm crushed, Kenny the Magnificent can't play. What will we do if we can't score 14 points a game under his, oh so god da** impressive command?!

 

We'll have to sign a veteran free agent at least to the practice squad someone like Colt McCoy.

 

Well I guess that's "good news" saw he might need surgery n that would end his season, so 2-4 weeks is "better" w 5 to play

 

At least we know Pickett can come back and win games in the 4th quarter, you won't see that with Trubisky. So there will be a big drop off in production

Didn't have one to begin with. Trubisky is probably playing for his future roster spot the next couple of weeks. Can't be paying him what we do for him to not be able to come in here and win a couple games for us when we need him to.

 

Pickett missing time is bad for this season and for the future. We need him to play to see if he shows some progress now that Canada is gone.

I don't see how any one would think differently.

 

There won't be much drop off. I would expect roughly 180 yards a game and about 16 points... Kenny ball.

TBH I expect us to move the ball a bit better with Trubisky (he actually had some solid starts for us last season after a couple of Kenny injuries), but it all comes down to whether or not he makes the big turnover. The production bar was just too low for us to expect it to get any worse than it was.

 

For sure. These last 6 games were going to say a lot in our decision to keep him or move on from him next year. Having that evaluation taken from us really hurts. Me personally, I think we've seen enough from him for us to know what to do... but hey, I don't get paid to make those decisions.

 

It’s clear that they need to find a QB1 and Center in the 2024 draft.

 

Unless it's a procedure to change his brain to one that can read a defense, I couldn't care less

 

Get back to me on Thursday after Trubisky throws one of his patented game losing interceptions. Believe me, it can get worse, and probably will

Mitch has thrown 6 touch downs in a single game before that’s equal to or more than picket has all season lol .

 

They suck, I had two in high school and the doctor told on the first one you would have been better off breaking it. I was like F that, but damn I was not right for like 6-8 weeks. I still have the air casts to this day. They suck but I never heard of a surgery for an ankle sprain so that sounds more like a break or perhaps the ligaments were torn completely off!!!
