I’m very disappointed, this is a very discouraging loss. Was angry before, just now able to come on the board to talk about it.

This team just gets in their own way all the time. It's a penalty. Then it's a bad snap or 10. It's a fumble in the red zone. It's a bad pass. It's a blown protection by the OL. It's a blown protection by a back. It's a dropped pass. It's a special teams blunder. It's a miscommunication. It's a personal foul penalty. It's a 12 men in the huddle penalty. They make mistakes all the time at the worst moments.

They just keep finding ways to screw it up when they seem to be getting somewhere and putting it together. The cycle happens over and over again. They have to find a way to get past it.

Now with all these injuries, they are really up against it. They don't have the depth, and teams are now just picking on the inside linebackers. If Watt can't play and demand all those double teams, the defense isn't going to be the same. Hopefully Golden and Herbig can step up. They have depth at that position.

I might acutally disagree given that they have a winning record despite the crappy point differential. Yes, they make all the mistakes you list, but they do it all the time, because they're just not that good. Yet they somehow are winning in spite of that. Now it's going to catch up with them probably over the course of 17 games, but let's be real. This team isn't getting in their own way, so much as they're somehow able to dodge themselves and keep going.

They're not a good team underachieveing. They're a bad team overachieving.

New England just held the Chargers to 2 field goals. How bad does that sound ? We scored 3 points in the first half against the Cards. Wee Gee board says the Pats are due to win sometime. Over / under for this game Thursday could be 9 points. On the up side, Browns lost too. One messed up league.

This loss was very predictable. I have to put this on Tomlin, this is his MO.
That Still Mill dude said it best.

" Synopsis: A grisly, unacceptable home loss against a bottomfeeder. Utterly atrocious. Not surprising, of course, given Mike Stoogelin’s yearly, multiple egg-lays. Instead of basically clinching a playoff spot today, the team falls to 7-5 and now must claw and hope for some help to make the playoffs".

In response to make the playoffs, at this point who cares? Make the PO and get embarrassed in the first round. The future doesn't look too bright for this team.

Looks like all downhill from here. Maybe Mason will get a shot. Mitch is a turnover machine, the bears would not even keep him..... Have a bad feeling this will be tomlin's losing season, and that is looking like maybe a change is coming.

I'm picking the Patriots to win 13-3 on Thursday. I can't see this team winning any more games with all the injuries and lack of discipline. There's simply not enough depth at ILB, special teams continue to make blunders and offense will be worse with Trubisky at QB. Cole can't execute a shotgun snap. Might as well just have Trubisky under center the whole game. Tomlin will be out-coached by Belichick.
