I think Tomlin loves him..and he gets another 1 year deal....With a whole camp to get his timing back with Ben..I think he can be a real weapon

I've been a fan of bringing him back for the past two years. Hopefully they keep him.

    for 2013:
    Burress
    Brown
    Sanders
    Cotchery

    is a nice group

We could win a lot of games with that. Then I would like a big wr drafted to learn from these guys. And take over for Plax after a year

I think it depends on the draft.

You take the best player in the first round, especially at this year's position.

I disagree a little. WE have spent alot of picks on oline so would not pick one of them in first round. And we can win with these wr so early on we need other things.

Plex can lay blocks as well. Might see a better screen game with him. I don't know what the Young Money Crew learned from Ward, but it's obvious it wasn't blocking.

Why not? A tall WR who can catch vs. a fast WR who can't?

I don't think we have a choice he's not worth putting the franchise tag on and his attitude is poor. He won't take 50 million because he thinks he is worth double that. Too bad but I think he becomes another Santonio Holmes

Are you seriously suggesting that Plex @ 36 will be more productive than MW??? Kriminy, I thought this was a knowledgable fan base.

It's a nice group but I think you'll be disappointed. We all have issues with Wallace but he is a huge deep threat receiver and when he is on the field, the defense must watch the deep threat and roll a safety his way making it easier for Brown etc. to get open. Without Wallace who would be the deep threat receiver? Burress - more of a redzone threat then deep threat, Brown? While fast, when he becomes the #1 receiver and other teams key on him I think he'll have a rough year. The announcers said today that they got the feeling from talking with Steelers personnel, coaches and players that they really think they need Wallace. I'm hoping Wallace and the Steelers can work out a long term deal. With Wallace on the team it makes the above group that much better.

If Plaxico wants to be on the team and Mike Wallace doesn't then yes.

Why does it always have to breakdown to calling people dumb on the board? If we wanted that kind of treatment we could find a ratbird message board to hang out on. Good grief.

I'd take him for the right price. He may want more than we offer, but nobody wanted him all year long? He still can contribute for sure and if not for all the injuries and roster shuffling he would played more
