no Canada and offense still stinks

THIS is why MT did not, would not get rid of Canada, for so long. He could hide behind him. Now he is exposed, as he should be.

missing guys open that I can see on TV, he is just not growing. This organization has lots of work to do to get close to anything elite.

To be ELITE, for some of you that seem to be happy winning by scoring 1 TD a game, that is an offense that go out and CARRY a team, that can put pressure on a D, that can help their OWN D.

We are not even close to that.

THAT is part of why Tomlin sat on Canada for so long - he could hide while he delayed his next move - if he even has a PLAN for a next move.

that’s the point: tomlin now has another excuse to hide behind. I’ve been saying for years that Teflon tomlin is thr best at always having a scapegoat to hide bad decision.

 

Kenny is not the biggest problem with offense today. You misspelled Cole, Moore, Jones, and the rest of the OL.

So many of y'all cry so much. Go be a fan of another team for five years, let me know how it works out for you..... so of y'all don't realize there's teams out there who went thru 2 head coaches and about to be a third. Or how they're constantly in a losing season. So those top ten picks don't help them at all.

Heck some don't realize besides stroud (Which we could have not got), there is only one rookie qb playing in the last 2 year's.

The tiny playbook is hurting this offense something chronic

 

The Steelers are too slow between the plays, despite being down by 2 scores....Way too many running plays too in the first and second down

 

I truly think they understood pretty early on that Canada was the correct person to fire, but that the offense was going to continue to suck as long as the QB room continued to suck. There is absolutely nothing I've seen this year that makes me believe Kenny should get another. It's time. It's not all his fault, but he has been a huge hindrance to this operation (and Trubisky isn't better). I'd love to see us trade up if someone slides or go get a better stop gap until we feel better about this position. It wont happen overnight, but something has to happen or we are going to continue to suck offensively.

The defense was due a bad one. They've been so good for so long and they weren't able to hold us in it today. Not super encouraging to see. We all knew Tomlin was going to dud one down the stretch. Good thing NE is really bad. Might be able to squeak that one out and hope for the best.
