Some Steelers fans think they should've kept him, he has 4 interceptions against a bad Bears team on MNF.

I only saw one of them but the one I saw was off the WR hands. Fields has fumbled on consecutive series in the 4th.

Come on; did you really have to start a new Josh Dobbs thread for this?

There is another Josh Dobbs thread like 5 posts below this one.

FYI: I came here looking for a MNF thread to Post.
I hate the fact that the Vikings are only rushing 3 on Chicago's last drive.

Vikings should have learned from Bills yesterday.
Why drop back into pass coverage when the QB can run?

All game your Defense has harassed the QB, now you let up?

Agreed. I knew it. There pass rush was working all game long, and then on the last drive of the game they decide to abandon what was working for the past 58 minutes? Stupid!!!

I guess the Vikings would be a wasted Playoff spot but there’s not much good out there.

Dobbs threw as many interceptions tonight as Pickett has thrown in 11 games. He had a 5th pick that was going to be an easy pick 6 dropped. They are on their bye week so I don't know who their backup is. It was the Hall kid from BYU but I think he's hurt.

For everyone talking him up, he is only 3-8 this year. He's a good back-up. He's not better than KFP.

Dobbs is a great talent but he isn't the complete package. The bears dropped a couple easy picks too.
Every time he throws an out pass the defense baits and waits, with an alarming rate of success.
I don't think that can be argued anymore.

Everyone in the world knows he’s an Aerospace Engineer but apparently his specialty is being a Glider pilot. Those passes yesterday were just awful. Could have been 6 or 7 picks easily.

Neither team is any good but have decent defenses which led to a crazy game. Dobbs is and always has been a backup, comparing him to a starter is just dumb.

Those careers sound a lot more fun than beating his brains out on the football field.
I have nothing but respect for the guy.

Truth. He was a good soldier when he was here and elsewhere. Good guy, easy to root for. However, he can't hide from stats. He was simply awful last night. He's a third string talent.

Doesn't pay nearly as well. He'll make a little over a million this year, whereas he'd be making maybe 100k as an aeronautical engineer.

Hey, it was a fun feel-good story while it lasted. Unlikely you'll hear them talk about him much anymore. I'd still take him over Kyler Murray. I can't stand that guy. At least Dobbs reads the playbook. Hopefully we can benefit from his total lack of preparation on Sunday.

There were certainly a few overreactions about him recently for sure. Definitely a few guys saying they would take him over Pickett because he played well for one half of a game.

His Jeremy Lin moment might of been short lived.

But, I am still rooting for Josh Dobbs he is hard guy to not root for.

Plus stay around the NFL as long as the want you.

The guy has made like 7.5 million in career earnings and it won't be hard to imagine him staying around another 3-4 years as an NFL back up.

Could easily go north of 10 million. Can't make that kind of change as a rocket engineer.

I like watching his parents though... they are funny to watch they almost look like they hate their son playing football.
