Couple TV shows some may enjoy

Fargo (not the movie) is back for season 5. FX/Hulu show. It is one of those series where each season different. Loved seasons 1-3. Season 4 sucked balls but season 5 is looking so cool after first two shows. My girl Juno Temple is in the new one. That girl knows how to play a gritty role.

Netflix has a show from Thailand called 6ixtynin9. 6 episodes. If you enjoy anything Quentin Tarantino you'd dig this show. These guys absolutely watched Tarantino to come up with this stuff. Kind of like Pulp Fiction. Should you want to check it out I'd strongly advise leaving it in Thai language and use English closed caption. I tried watching with the English dubbed in but it was to messed up.

I know maybe you can watch Sunday from 1-4

Thank you re: Fargo - I didn't know. Really enjoyed first few seasons. Billy Bob was great. Will check it out. Waiting for Reacher Season 2 to start up Dec 15 on Prime - have read all of the books. The TV Reacher much more believable than Tom Cruise in spite of the fact Cruise owns all the movie rights to those books. Book Reacher is 6-5 - 250 lbs vs Cruise 5-6? 175?

 

I always watch foreign films in their original language, and use CC if I don't speak the language. Otherwise with overdubs....it ruins the quality of the actual acting IMO

 

I didn't think Tom was even that big.

 

Wait a minute. You don't like the English dubbed version of Godzilla??? THAT was some acting there!

I actually have both versions. You know they are different???
Also did You know in the American version James Hong...who has played in Golden Child, Big Trouble in Little China, Tango, and Cash, Blade Runner, Balls of Fury, Everything Everywhere All at Once, and other movies....was one of the voice actors on the original English dubbed version. Funny...he's not even Japanese. LoL

SLOW HORSES is back

 

If you have HBO and/or MAX you may enjoy True Detective. Each season is different. The first was amazing with Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. It's dark as hell and tough to take at times but amazing story. Season 2 super sucked and could never follow the first season. Season 3 so-so.

In January season 4 with Jodie Foster looks like a good one. If you had watched season 1 you'd be looking forward to this one.

 

I actually haven't watched, because I didn't catch it right off, but now that I know each season is different....I will check it out.

I just got done watching all 4 episodes of Evil Genius on Netflix. This wasn't even on my radar, but my sister-in-law's husband mentioned it at our Christmas get together yesterday, and me, him, and my brother-in-law started the first episode. We pretty much sat there completely intrigued and finished two episodes. I finished the last two today. Like I said, this wasn't on my radar, but I couldn't stop watching it once we started.

It's basically a documentary about the Pizza delivery bomb bank heist in Erie, PA. The more I watched, to more bizarre it got.

LoL . I never watch anything one episode at a time. I wait till I can watch a whole season 1st....so I'm doing some catching up on shows. Plus I have about 20 movies I'm trying to watch, but I will get to it....from what Y'all say it sounds good.
