If you go back to the game cast, the announcers said it was obviously a drop. Then they ran the next play, fumbled, had a commercial break, and THEN came back with "let's look at that play again...." So the announcers, who had ALL the views, took almost 5 minutes to come up with "let's look at that again.." and you expect Tomlin with only the scoreboard view to make that decision in 30 seconds...

Really? And why is that? Because I don't bow to the Tomlin shrine? :lolol:

So you think it shouldn't have been challenged then? If he lost the challenge then it wouldn't be like he hasn't before. I was going by what the retired official analyst said. Water under the bridge at this point we won.

I do believe we had 3 timeouts at that point.

How about last week where his defense had 12 men on the field. Twice! And burned 2 timeouts.

Tomlin gets a pass with me until he has a losing season--- it's a major accomplishment to do that. Not as good as winning a Superbowl but still good------------:herewego!:

I wouldn't. The Steelers need points. Given how they struggle to score, they can't afford to make that mistake.

It sucks, but that is a function of the injuries. They were starting two guys they just brought up from the practice squad and they lost another key reserve, Riley, during the game. Communication errors of all sorts are going to be hard to avoid in a situation like that.

You don't have to blame him but you can acknowledge a better offense. These men are not hourly workers or making $50k a year so someone losing their job because they are not good at it when everyone else also relies on that person doesn't grab at my sympathy strings.

You don't know the guy. Tomlin does. That makes a difference.

He was smart enough to know that people were going to be dancing on the grave of Canada's career after yesterday's game and didn't want to contribute to the media doing it. I think the way he went about it was silly, but I can understand and respect the decision.

Tomlin gets a pass because he played tight end.
It's the new wrinkle in our GREAT OFFENSE with our franchise QB.

Nobody got any passes with Canada calling the plays

...because he's 7-4 with one of the worst teams in the league and lots of key injuries throughout the year on defense.

TOMLIN needs to start winning playoff games it’s way past 9 or 10 win seasons and either getting blown out rd 1 or barely missing them. I know a win is a win but if you look at their schedules the Duck year last year second half and most of this season and likely the rest of the way the league is horrible. There are literally a handful of very good teams in football 10 decent teams at the most. The Bengals without Burrow are trash.
