i can write about why the glass is half empty and why it is half full.

for this AM, I am in good mood, so, it is half full.

there is an old adage: it is not how you start but how you finish.

if CAM is healthy (is he, from his groin surgery, injury?), if Minkah gets that hammy healed - this defense will improve, provided no one else goes down. Thompson has been a bright spot. Porter will continue to improve.

If Kenny continues to work very hard (everyone says he practices and prepares HARD), and IF the offensive line continues to improve (Cleveland's defense, after all - is #1 in the league), we can run the ball with a good 2 headed monster. Najee knows that Warren is the fan favorite.

Now - if DJ can learn to catch and run forward - we might have a chance in January!

Anything short of going at least 4-2 against the remaining schedule is purely inexcusable in my eyes.

Playing their style method of winning, that is probably possible.

Not sure if we can win the division, think Steelers would have to run the table in order to do that with how Baltimore is playing.

Baltimore has a harder schedule of games left.

More than likely I think Steelers get a Wild Card berth, I think they be better than the #7 Spot, good chance they are the #5 spot.

Looking like a good chance that we are playing in Florida. Might be against Jags or maybe against Dolphins.

I think Steelers can match up better against Jags than Dolphins, if they could pull an upset.

But short of having, an offensive outburst of points, I can't change my line of thinking on the Steelers.

It is good that we are getting healthy. We also have a relatively easy end of the year schedule, so we should have a really good chance to compete.

Kenny's work ethic and attitude have never been the problem. Hopefully his hard work coupled with a new offensive outlook improves his play on the field. Our run game has really taken off since Broderick Jones has been inserted in the lineup. We should use that as a catalyst to drive our offense to end the season.

As always, a team with a good defense is viable in the playoffs. If we can get in, run the ball a bit, and Kenny continues to push the ball downfield with no turnovers... we should have a shot. Nobody wants to stare down Watt/Heyward/Highsmith in January football as turnovers can change the tide drastically on any given Sunday.

If Najee keeps running with hate like he did at times yesterday and we can have two fan favorites.

I think we're in good shape for winning the division. Yes we're 1 1/2 games behind the ravens but a win against Arizona cuts that down to 1 game behind. If we keep place with the ravens weeks 14-17 (with us having the much easier schedule in that span) then the winner of our week 18 game against Balt takes the division.

Many on this board thought our week 18 game against the ravens would be for the division title and it still looks that way.
Of course some talking heads (you know, the "experts"?) were predicting we'd come in last in our division. Although that's still a mathematical possibility, I like where we stand at present.

agreed, but was thinking today how absurd things can go at times, as badly as this team has played if we had scored 4 more points against the Browns we would be tied for 1st place in this division. While I do not think it will happen, we actually have a chance to win the division, lol. It would be unreasonable and even unreal to think that, but that is a fact. lmao

In my eyes we already have two fan favorites. Both can play, run the ball
Watch 180 pound Db's want no parts of these 2.

well - true, but keep in mind, too - we are playing backup or first yr QB's week after week after week. (TN, GB, Cincy, CLE)

Good QB's and we'd be in BIG TROUBLE.

    hence......January awaits us!

The steelers control their destiny for the AFC north title....If they are just one game back of Baltimore in the final week and that the browns did not win much, the winner in the matchup between steelers and ravens in week 18 will win the division

that's understood, I am under no illusion that we are anywhere near striking distance, I honestly thought this year was continue to build to become a truly competitive team, on O anyway we have been worse than last year and have a better record, lol.
