Pickett will not be as good as a HOF QB who was an elite down the field passer. I agree on that.
However, if you think replacing Pickett will solve this the problems of this offense, then you and I are watching different games. This offense lacks talent across the board. There is not a single Steeler starters on offense who is likely to be a pro-bowler this year or next.

The thing is though, TWO players who are on this current Steelers offense WERE Pro Bowlers prior to Kenny becoming QB. Najee and DJ were both Pro Bowlers on Ben's team. While I agree that there isn't anyone (aside from potentially Warren) who will be a Pro Bowler anytime soon, it is because Kenny is the QB... not the other way around.

I also saw them sitting down on the bench with Kenny Pickett and one of the pads they can watch replay on. They were going over stuff during the game. Something you never saw with Canada.

 

The Broncos are leading the Browns 24-12 in the 4th quarter.

 

It wasn’t just Kenny either they were talking with everyone. They’re going to need to give Moore some help though.

 

DJ is not helping his case today with the drop of a TD pass. It was not a perfect pass but DJ had to come down with it and failed to. And the next play is a reason why I have zero sympathy for him. Can you see Hines Ward, Louis Lipps, or any other Steelers great receiver let alone HOF ignore blocking and ignore the fumble? The late great Chuck Knoll would see that as a player who does not have what it takes to be great and he would be right…


I see DJ and Pickens as players more concerned with their numbers than with winning. Furthermore, I see both of them take to many plays off. I think Steeler fans over rate them especially Pickens.

The Steelers should not cut either of them but we would be fools to not look at drafting or a FA WR next year. We don’t have a #1 WR and it shows.

 

A Browns player dissed the Terrible Towel AFTER our game with them. Hoping the curse gets them good.
