I am not sure if I have ever seen Steelers team with this much disdain for one
another. Seems like we have quite a few players that need attitude adjustments.
Could be an interesting rest of season and off season.

I honestly don’t see these things as a negative between players. Better to hash things out instead of just keeping it in.

I’d say Minkah had enough of Johnson bickering at authorities and put him in his place.

Johnson should take a seat for his action with the coaches.

This goes back to what I said in another post about KFP should get benched. If you want to take back control of a team you have to make statements no matter who they are.

Life example and it doesn’t apply to football, but when I coached baseball, I had 9 players. 2 of my players got in an argument, one of those players being my own son. They both immediate set the bench the rest of that game and I played with 7 players. After that they didn’t argue again.

I have also kicked another one of my sons completely off the team before (he by far was the best player on the team and he knew it, he thought he could do what he wanted. Nope he sure didn’t get to do what he wanted. Just because Dad is the Coach you are a player to me and not a Son when on that field. He ended up swallowing his pride and I told him that if he apologized to the team and if every one of them accepted it, he could be back on the team, but still had to sit the bench for 3 games. They accepted and he never gave another issue.

Point is no matter your name, how long you have been on the team, how much money you make. You don’t perform or you undermine coaches. Sit their @ss on the bench.

If I had to guess, DJ is worried about his stats, probably some bonus he is trying to hit.

The same DJ who was 0-3 receiving at the end of the game when all we needed was a first down

Same DJ who has one touchdown in oh say 2 years

The same DJ I was repeatedly told is a number 1 receiver

Cowher would have gotten in his face and challenged him. Noll would have quietly called him into his office the next morning and cut him from the team.

Cowher would have covered him in slobber

And if Noll wanted to keep him he would have assigned Greene to the task

Cam and TJ need to deal with this

A new, more disciplinarian-oriented of head coach, who is less a friend and more of a professional and tactician, would likely do wonders in restoring order to this team's (evidently very chaotic) locker room.

Do you think in todays society that discipline is gonna make a difference, these kids nowadays for the most part don’t take pride in the colors they wear, don’t care what colors they wear, they care about the $$$ and fame.

Not saying all young players are like that, and you can tell the ones that love the colts and they wear and the names on the front. Give me 53 players with the mentality that Warren, Watt, Hayward,Ward and the 70’s teams had any day over the punks that feel it’s all about the name on the back like Johnson and Pickens.

No Coach is gonna change these type of players, take a look at Claypool for example. It’s not until Maturity finally kicks in, take OBJ for example. Coaching didn’t change him, Maturity did.

Cowher had no problem sitting a guy who wasn’t with the program, or shipping him out.

The same DJ that had 5 tds his rookie year with Mason/Duck, the same DJ that had 7tds the next year with Ben, and the same DJ that had 8 tds the year after with Ben, and then got Trubisky, and KFP, and has only 1td....in two years.....You don't see the pattern here???
