We have a very good RB tandem, a quality WR group with a solid vet in DJ and a young uber talented guy in Pickens, a good DL headlined by Heyward, Watt and Highsmith are the best EDGE duo in the league, and Minkah. Not to mention we have a really good group of young players that are rookies who have all added high quality play this season. We really do have above average talent in the league. There will always be position groups that are weaker in a salary cap era, but the reason why we don't look as talented is because we are weak at QB. Hard to look good offensively in any regard with poor QB play. Great QB play can make average talent look great and poor QB play can make great talent look average. It all flows through one position in the NFL at the highest level (QB), and we are undoubtedly weak at that position.

The truth is that Tomlin walked into a perfect situation with a Franchise QB already in place.

What does Tomlin know about developing QB's? He can't even hire competent coordinators.

Pickett struggles the rest of the season they first need to hire an innovative proven offensive coordinator in 2024 (Not by Tomlin and not Sandwich) can both "Sing along with Mitch" and the Reindeer and bring in someone who can take the reins and not be an embarrassment. Pickett will get another shot due to fact of being a 1st round pick and having a new coordinator. If he cannot be rehabilitated then he is done.
