Click bate title maybe a bit. Who wouldn't like the spark Ben provided. Everyone felt they could win a game at any moment. Playing backyard ball making plays out of no where making crazy plays.

Pretty much the exact opposite of what they have now

I actually would love to see Ben back on the sideline even if he is not lacing them up. At this point give him a call he may be tipping back a beer on a talk show though.

Dude's a hero in the Burgh would be cool just to see him on the sideline.

Ben just doesn't strike me as the coaching type.

There's a lot more to being an OC than just calling plays. I think Ben is perfectly happy with his podcast.

    Big Ben’s offensive scheme

Old line block as long as you can. Everyone else run around until somebody’s open and hopefully KP can find you.

Ben could be the OC under Tomlin… the play design will be done by the QB coach (not Ben), the game day play calling will be done by the WR coach (not Ben).

Ben’s job as the OC will be to some games be in the booth upstairs and some games be on sideline. Maybe even switch locations at half time depending on the situation of the game.

I can definitely see Tomlin going for that approach.

There is no way Ben Roethlisberger is going to be the OC of the Steelers. Nor should he be.

    :lolol:

That will work if KP learns to throw to someone besides the primary receiver since he doesn't seem to see anyone else once a play starts. Hoping he improves in this area.

This will never happen. Ben has a $100M+ war chest. He doesn't need the money and he would never take a 70-80 hour a week job that pays under minimum wage from his perspective.

Won’t happen. I can see them interviewing for the job next season ultimately landing on Leftwich. I think that’s where they’re headed and what Tomlin is thinking.

I wish we wouldn't go Leftwich, somebody new and upcoming. Do a full scale interview like they did with Tomlin and find the right guy and don't be cheap either!! Some real talent is there and we can't waste time f'ing around.
