Will we win another game this year?

I'm a lot more confident that they'll win a few more games now that Canada has hit the bricks. They should've fired him at the bye, but this was still a good time to do it in order to keep their playoff hopes alive. Tomlin was smart enough to give Canada the axe before he totally lost the locker room, and probably the season. This was a very good move

 

The team loses a game and fans freak out doom and gloom, I remember after a loss earlier this season another fan said they were going to get a top 5 pick .

 

What you should be asking is this " Having dismissed Canada from his duties will this improve the team significantly"? Have you ever seen Tomlin fire anyone midseason? This goes a long way to sending a message to the team, especially the offense.

 

It’s the way we continually lose like Sunday with complete uninspired play from everyone except a handful of players that gets me upset. If they had lost where they looked in rhythm it would be different. Hopefully this change will have a positive impact. Something had to be done to shake up this mess that’s for sure.

 

This is the first time a Steelers coach of any type has been dismissed mid season since 1941. That is 82 years so it’s not something that 95% of us have seen in our lifetime.

 

That's why I've changed my tune now that Canada has been fired, I think they have a good chance now of getting to 10-7. He pretty much lost us the Cleveland game with his terrible play calling, that's what finally did him in. I still think they'll get smoked in the 1st round even if they do make the playoffs though

Tomlin was losing the locker room and had to do something. this may not fix all that ails this team but it's most certainly a step in the right direction.
