I'm shocked they did it during the season, Tomlin said he was his decision to fire Canada, that disputes what Dulac said that it was Ronney's decision.

I'm with you on this. New OC ain't fixing a bad O-line and make Kenny instantly better. Now I do have hope he has the ability to give Kenny what is needed most, CONFIDENCE.

Exactly. Kenny hasn't shown any flashes of greatness even in Canada's terrible system. Canada should be gone but the Steelers can't wait another year to determine if Picket is the guy.

I think they need to decide on Kenny by the end of the season, if he isn't the guy, draft a QB. The 2024 Draft Class is pretty deep for QB and even the lower 1st round or 2nd round guys are better than Pickett, whose draft class was very weak at that position.

Unless a team can land a Lamar, Hurts, or Mahomes, there is absolutely no reason to sign a average QB beyond their rookie contract. You don't keep average QB, as even they take up too much of the salary cap. Kenny is already 25, go younger and try to get more talent, so you can keep your defense and skill talent in tact longer.

 

What is Tomlin's responsibility exactly, outside of falling on the Canadian sword?

 

He is getting an NFC HC job and hoping to kick our ass in a SB
