Does anyone think that Matt Canada is a good OC? Is he playing to the strengths of the players he is calling plays for? I don't see anyone anywhere saying Canada is calling a good game. Every now and then, something goes well and a good thing happens, but 90% of the time he is calling simplistic plays that are easy for a defense to read. I am also seeing more of the check down passes as the season goes on and that appears to be a staple play under a Canada offense. Throw it to someone 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage and hope they get a good run in.

Kenny is not playing well right now and I think that is coming to the front in everyone's mind. But, until the Canada problem is solved, I don't think you can fairly assess anyone else.......other than Trubisky. Every time he steps on the field, I start counting until he throws it to someone on the other team. I don't have to count long.

I think that Lamar is a better QB than he is given credit for. When he has to throw, he does very well. He has put up some big games with his arm alone. At just shy of 2,000 attempts, he is sitting at at 64.6% completion rate and a 97.2 passer rate. Those are some good stats as a passer.

DJ is and always has been overrated! Im telling you this team is full of non performers on offense! Warren and Pickens the end, rest should be on a practice squad. Everybody unloading on Zach Wilson in the media, KFP is just as bad if not worse.

Assume DJ is right. He ran the right route..Then why does a veteran receiver complete his route against zone coverage when it takes him towards a defender?
If Kenny completes the throw as the route DJ is running it will likely lead to an incompletion at best with DJ getting blasted or worse an interception.

This is not the 1st time I have seen this. The 3rd and goal against Jacksonville, DJ is lined up to the left and runs a slant against zone. He is open but continue the route towards a defender. Why?

You mean the route where he ran straight down field instead of breaking? Nobody is blameless in this fiasco

DJ is no Brown or Ward, that's a given. Solid receiver, but not a game changer.

Don't forget, years ago, Hines Ward brought some drama on himself when he called out Ben for refusing to play with a concussion. Let's not crucify DJ too much here.

Well, if you want a big contract from another team, do you sacrifice yourself to cover some other dude's mistake who continues to play so bad that you can see the $s fall off your contract?

In a world of "lets all hold hands", I totally agree with DJ having to take one for Pickett.

But in a world of "I need to feed my family and some loser is costing my kid's inheritance", I totally see what DJ did.

If Pickett was generally good, and made a mistake here or there, I can see players not placing blame. But Pickett is crap throw after throw, and it's too much to expect the rest of the team to throw themselves under the bus.

I saw a news clip with the whole conversation with DJ including the reporter questions and it sounded a whole lot less harmless than it’s being made out to be

No, saying it needs to get cleaned up does not imply anything about Johnson. He never said he did it right. He never said Johnson did it wrong. He said they need to fix it without telling the media who messed up. Johnson is the one who threw a teammate under the bus.

I wonder if he was the anonymous source who supposedly texted that all the communication errors were on Pickett because he wasn't prepared and he's never prepared.

Either a media member made up the quote we read previously or it was from a different part of the interview, because Johnson supposedly claimed that he ran the right route.

I think that original quote was after the game in the locker room. Same with Najee's.

He responded to a Twitter post. Clearly the coaching is substandard. No one knows what is going on.

George Pickens is frustrated on field
Chuks complains about the offense (and gets benched)
Najee is frustrated during post game interviews
    DJ frustrated on field

...doesn't seem to be trending in the right way
