next year is Najee's final. Warren will start and split 50/50 with him.

Warren gets a contract this offseason - he is signed thru next year but he'll get a nice contract in the offseason. I'd trade Najee, if they can, before the draft. He won't be happy here next year. Warren is a RFA in 2025.

Dude....I'd be 100% behind this if I knew He hired him, and he kept him, but I don't. I know that He didn't hire Haley, or fire Arians.....so why would I believe He was the one who hired Canada, and kept Him. He is not Bill Belichick, and is the GM also. It's funny. If it's a good hire , or good pick the GM is awesome....if it's a bad hire, and bad pick Tomlin sucks....., and yet the people who say this actually don't see the hypocrisy in it.

They let Arians go, and hired Haley. Honestly....does that sound like He had say in the matter??? Some of You keep saying things that nobody knows besides guessing, but when I present things that we know has happened people turn a blind eye. We know He was not a 3-4 guy when hired as a HC....yet they made Him stay 3-4, and even made Him Keep the DC....truth ....does that sound like he's calling the shots??
Later He wanted to extend Arians contract, and they let Arians go, and hired Haley instead....this has been verified by not only Arians, Arians wife, but Ben also. Does that sound like He has complete control??? I've given You examples that He doesn't have complete control. Now give Me proof that He does. Don't You think if He had complete control they would make Him the GM like Belichick, and other HC have had over the years???

See ....a little something to learn here....You know You have someone when they can't provide answers, and change the subject, rely on snide remarks, or skip around answering. I will give You another example of Tomlin not having all this power. Rooney fired Canada....does that sound like a HC with all the power You keep saying. So that's like what??? 4-5 examples of Me showing You He doesn't have all this power, and You showing me proof that He does with...... well nothing so far....besides You just saying He does. LoL. Yes He's a HC.....He coaches what the owners , and GMs provide Him with, and He gives suggestions of what he needs, and wants....just like Cowher before Him. If either had all the power You people tried to put on them....they would have made them the acting GMs also.

It's called coach the team.....not GM, and not owner. Have You ever noticed some HCs are HC/GM....and some aren't. Head Coaches coach, and supervise the other coaches. I don't know where people get in their heads....they hire, fire, draft, and cut coaches, and player. If You honestly think He can go out , spend money on any coach , any player, draft whomever he wants , and fire whomever he want....without an ok, or an let's talk about it with the owner, and the GM 1st.....I'm wasting My time. Not one owner allows this....even to coaches that are also GMs.....let alone coaches that have a GM....over them..let Me spell that out for You.....General M A N A G E R . Example:There was a reason Cowher almost left before....because of the GM....He got tired of not seeing eye to eye...He is the coach....He coaches, and anything else He asks for.

 

Based on some of his comments (Harris) last off season I would not be surprised to see him actually hold out wanting a better contract
