Yes, but to be fair, Kenny only had literally one good season in college and it was in his very last year. Was that season a fluke? It would appear as though 20 something other NFL teams thought it was, which is why he was available for the Steelers near the end of the first round. I think Kenny's talents were a mirage. He already came into this league older than most rookies, which means his ceiling was more than likely not much higher than it was. Everyone hoped that the floor was high and wouldn't budge lower, but sadly, that hasn't been the case.

I think Kenny's just not a good QB. I also think there are more than a few deeply underrated QBs in the league. Unfortunately, ours is not one of them.

When it's 3rd and long instead of playing it safe anymore, just have KP throw it deep. It it's picked off so what? The punter is just going to shank the ball for 22 yards anyway.

Kenny didn’t look this bad last year… my fear is this coaching staff has extinguished the fire in his belly.

Look at him on the sidelines. That man looks defeated. Haven't seen any fire from him in quite some time.

I wasn't high on him coming out. I really didn't think much of him either way...didn't love him or hate him. And didn't think we'd get a franchise QB at 20 in the draft.

I've taken a wait and see approach wanting him to succeed for obvious reasons. But he doesn't have it. There's not a part of his game that stands out that you could build around. Ok arm, ok mobility, below average pocket presense, doesn't process quickly (which was what the hope was coming out in the draft) and isn't as accurate as we thought (again...this along with processing was to make up for his lack of elite arm). Swing and a miss...it's what most of the NFL deals with every year. Unless we get lucky we should prepare for a string of Picketts, Maddoxs, Bristers, and Kent Grahams.

It sure seems that way. Pickett shows no emotion, even on those rare occasions when he makes a good play. The fire he had last year has sadly gone, I really wonder if it will ever return

Most Steeler fans don't want him behind center anymore and I think he knows it.

Mason can at least read a zone defense while picket has proven beyond a shadow of doubt that he can not

I think they will look for a vet next off season, but I'm not sure about Cousins. He will be 36 by the time the regular season starts and coming off an Achilles injury. That said he would be way better than what they currently have.

Don't be so sure. Again, Pickett and Rudolph threw for the same 175 yards a game, the same slightly more TD's to INT's ratio, and the offense scored the same paltry amount of points with them on the field. They performed VERY similarly.

It had to have been played by Ben. Potentially in Trubisky's game against the Panthers. They ran all over them, so he didn't have to do a ton... but he played a complete game.

I think he would perfect. Based on the injury and his age they might be able to get him for a reasonable price. Who else is out there?

What’s that matter they won’t play the pick for half a season if ever the entire organization is laughable but sure keep thinking they are royalty. They are a bottom 5 organization in football the Jets have a better chance of winning a playoff game before the Steelers

You have to admit, the fact that Tomlin has gotten this much out of a below average team with a below average QB says a lot about his coaching.
