I agree. It’s the timing of when Browns scored that last points. But my comment is is collectively about the entire team, no excuse to lose.

I think what everyone’s gripping about is get 5 yards after the first and it becomes a 52-yd FG to take the lead. Five stinking yards with the RB who ripped a 74-yd run. Sure hindsight is 20/20, but our coaches are absolutely blind sometimes

You’re correct. It was the worst timing to give up yards. The D should have played much tighter coverage as they had before.

No one is accusing them of being savvy with play calling.

The Browns were moving the ball well in the first half. Not sure what adjustments were made at halftime, but did they really have to wait until halftime to make them?

It’s pretty hard to fit a football between two cinder blocks.

They have completed a few to Pickens out of the slot but that feels like years ago. I don’t recall that formation in weeks. This offense is stale as hell. I don’t see any concepts designed to get guys open

Then just run Warren inside or off tackle three times. The way he was going, that's going to get them five yards, which is enough to bring out Boswell to try to win it.

They don't trust him, which is just making things worse. How the hell is he supposed to trust himself if they are going to shackle him like that?

They had him on one slant, but one of the Browns' linemen deflected the pass.

It's not hindsight. I think we all wanted them to feed Warren more after that touchdown. I don't understand how the coaches didn't see that.

I'm not even angry or really that disappointed. I knew this was a pick 'em game. I figured Cleveland would win 16-13. You can't expect to keep winning one possession games by pulling a few offensive or defensive plays out of your a$$ in the 4th quarter. It is not a sustainable formula for success.

I have no faith in Pickett or this offense whatsoever. The only two bright spots have been Warren and Jones. They don't have an all-world receiving corps, but they could win with them if they had competent QB play. They are now running the ball somewhat effectively, but they don't use play action. I'm not about to blame Canada for Pickett's relative incompetency, but you would think he would at least be able to design a more efficient game plan for what this team does well right now, which is running the ball. He is not the only problem, but he is a problem, make no mistake about it.

One other thing that sticks in my craw. In a game this close, your special team play can make a big difference. So, if you are going to play small ball for lack of a better term, why the hell would you rely on Harvin? Yeah, he hits an occasional bomb, but you're just as likely to see him shank a couple.

They both are bad. I was mad when we resigned Dionte. I never like him. Just a very average wr who goes down easy, produces very little yac and drops a ton of balls or runs wrong routes.

I tend to agree with your reasoning. The coaching staff is basically telling Pickett they don't trust him by using this plain, JV offense. How is he supposed to acquire any confidence if they don't put the ball in his hand in a tight situation? "Hey Kenny, you can't win the game. We just don't want you to lose it, alright?" I've about run out of patience with KP, but I'm just a fan. If he's questioning his own ability, then he's all but useless. Coaching and Canada have to share in some of the blame.

All in all, a well deserved loss. Playcalling, blocking, penalties........... Kudos to the defense though!

The guys we called up on defense really came through today. Would've been a great win for them, but our final drive was horrendous
